    the only other concerts i have gone to were gifts and were not as important as fall out boy is to me. well, i paid for the fall out boy one. i saved money from christmas and my birthday to pay for a ticket for me, my sister, and my mom. now, i have my own job, which doesn't pay a lot, but it's enough for a kid like me. i dunno.

    @novak;; seriously, don't worry about being awkward. there were so many people that made me cringe, but there was a group of people in front of us that was about four or five girls and one guy that were in their early twenties maybe. and the guy had this kid that was maybe like twelve and he was singing every single word to everyone single song and i was like wowowow so proud of this kid i didn't even know. they were the only sober people around us, tbh. at one point, right after one of pete's speeches, me and my cousin were holding hands and just screaming and one of the girls turned around and she was laughing and throughout the show they would turn around to look at us and it was like we were all like "yes. our people." one girl was shaking another one right before they ended the show and she was screaming, "they're gonna play saturday! they're gonna play saturday!" and then we all screamed every word to that song and we were the only ones around us who knew all the words. and at the end of the show, we actually stopped them and thanked them for being sober. and they were totally chill. the one girl told us she'd been a fall out boy fan since she was in the eighth grade, so like since the beginning. and it was just a great connection. i will never meet that girl again, but i will never forget her, you know? i have social anxiety. i am naturally awkward in social situations. but instead of focusing on how awful the people around me made me feel, i focused on the people that mattered. primarily fall out boy, but also that group of people, because they were loving and appreciating it just as much as i was. sorry i started getting really passionate idk.

    my point is, don't feel awkward or afraid. just go for it. because something else will impact you that will make you remember it for more than just fall out boy being in front of you.

      thanks for the advice ^^ to be honest i really think it's the fact that I dont want myself to look stupid. I mean, yeah, i probably wouldn't enjoy being near so many screaming people, but, hey, i'd still go to a concert just bc it's fob lmao

      i remember when i was a FoB-noob...

      it was terrible.. i pretty much only liked My songs know what you did in the Dark and i occasionally listened to some of their older songs, but i was like one of those young fake emos, so i kinda only listened to really old emo music like evanescence and stuff, but then i kinda got back into it a while ago, and wsa a fob noob again. i really only liked centuries, and my friend kinda got into th band too, and she was all obsessed and stuff... it kinda creeped me out bc at one point she 'accidently' called herself -not gonna say her first name lmao- stumph, and i was like "get out." She kept saying he was really hot.... like it really made me uncomfortable, and she eventually stopped bothering me about all that, and now it's like

      "what even was i?"

      ;-;
