"I went with some friends of mine. Alfie, was one of them. Great guy, really." He said with a smile, twirling around the controls. "Just him and his friends. Almost hit one of them in the head with my club..." He said, making a bit of a face as he flipped the controls. "Anyways! You best go change! Your gonna want to wear shorts, let me tell you. It's going to be hot."

"Golf was ruined for me completely at age eight when Liam accidentally hit me in the head with a golf club. Not the best experience I've ever had, I can assure you." Felicity chuckled softly, standing up and dusting her hands off. "Changing. Right. Why do you have an entire wardrobe devoted to women's clothing, by the way?"

"Very sensible accessories. I look great in a scarf." He commented, still working on the controls. So focused that no smile showed on his face as he spoke. "Figured; why not have an entire wardrobe?" He continued, pulling the lever that sent them through time. Luckily, the TARDIS didn't thrash them about this time.

"I've never seen you in a scarf, but I'll take your word for it." Felicity raised one eyebrow as she spoke, making her way into the clothing room. She re-emerged about a minute or two later wearing shorts and once more seated herself in the chairs. Though the TARDIS wasn't throwing the two of them around like usual, there was still that train-like, maybe bus-like feeling of standing up and kind of almost falling down but not quite. Just kind of wobbling for a few moments before you caught your balance and were able to stand up without your knees going out.

As she walked back in, his gaze moved up to her as he twisted knobs and roatated a glowing where on the control board. "See? Nice and prepared for where we have hopefully landed." He said, a smile tweaking the sides of his lips up as he bounced towards the doors. "We all ready, then?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Don't give too many hints, I might figure it out." She paused, raising one eyebrow. "What do you mean 'hopefully?' Are you implying you ever land anywhere but where you mean to?" Felicity chuckled, making her way to his side. "Yep, ready as I'll ever be. I'm still impressed by the amount of clothes you have."

"Oh, all the time. She's got her preferences." He said, rubbing his hands back together as he looked from the door to Felicity. "Alright, let's go then." He said, gesturing for the small handle so that she could open it herself.

"Why, does she prefer we put ourselves in danger rather than have a relaxing trip to anywhere?" Felicity giggled, clasping her hands in front of her. As he gestured to the door handle, she perked up a little and raised her eyebrows. "Let's." Felicity murmured as she pulled the door open.

He could,not help but chuckle as she giggled: it was a great sound, he had to admit. Happy and carefree. But as she pulled the door open, his smile was because of something else. The TARDIS had brought them exactly where he wanted them to be. "Here we are! Good girl." He said, patting the blue surface of the TARDIS gently before turning back to Felicity. "Felicity, I welcome you to ancient Egypt." He said, his hands finding his pockets as he waited excitedly for her reaction.

Felicity took on the usual look of awe that she always got when she got taken somewhere new like this. "Ancient Egypt, huh? At first I thought you might be taking me to a volcano. This is really cool, through!" She said after a moment, bouncing up and down as she spoke, turning to the Doctor as she did so.
