Requiem flicked her ears and climbed up a tree. She looked around only to see cats gathering around. She quickly climbed down and shook her head a little. Requiem padded around the forest floor. She jumped back when she heard a loud snap. She looked around frantically and sighed in relief.

Pinepaw's ears perked immediately. Patrols? Perfect! The usual aloof cat straightened his posture immediately, hoping in radiation that the leader's eyes would drift over to his mentor, and more even more excitingly, -- him.

He gazed over the crowd of cats. "Pinepaw, Sparrowing, Weaselwhisker, your on a hunting patrol." He mewed.

Pinepaw's eyes lit up immediately, it taking all of his self control to not simply leap up and bolt out of the camp right there. The apprentice quickly observed the other warriors mellowed reaction, mimicked them with a nod, and stood up, padding out of the camp after the warriors.

Requiem shook a little and sneezed once again making her collar jingle a little. She padded around and flattened her ears a little. She watched as a squirrel darted in front of her. Requiem growled and darted after it.
