Hey, I'm starry, and I'm looking for a maze runner 1x1. I'm halfway through the first book, but I've seen the first and second movie. The plot I'm looking for is quite romance-y, I suppose, and it's male OC x male OC. My OC will most likely be a greenie, but I haven't really got a preference for which rank your OC is. The RP will be set in the Glade, and it may progress as time goes on. This probably seems oddly specific but hopefully I can find someone who's interested. ;v;

Anyway, a bit more about how active I'll be. I live in Scotland, so I'm in the western European timezone. I stay up until about 12AM on weekdays and a bit later at weekends. I'm almost always online, unless I have a large amount of homework or I'm going on a trip (but I'll obviously tell you if this happens!).

Currently (and obviously) I'm looking for some 1x1 roleplays! I won't make this post too fancy.
I'm just a big nerd from England, and recently I've decided to come back to this website, so I'll be a lot more active!
Please note that I have school 8:30 to 3:00 and that I live in the UK, so maybe timezones could be a bit of a problem, but really that doesn't bother me at all!
I'll usually mirror your posts, but myself I can do a few sentences to around two paragraphs, maybe more, depending on the topic.
I'm not too picky when it comes to my roleplay partners, but all I ask is that you can do more than 3 lines, as one sentence can be really difficult to reply to (unless you get a curse of the dreaded writer's block, I understand 100% !). Also, please don't leave the roleplay without letting me know! It actually really hurts my feelings, as all the roleplays I've done on here my partner has left me. I wouldn't do that to you!

My Capabilities
I like to roleplay in 3rd person perspective, so keep that in mind.
I tend to roleplay guys, but am completely alright with doing a girl if that's what ya need.
I write at least a small paragraph each time, however I can do more (up to three paragraphs) depending on some stuff, and double check my posts always. (I'm a perfectionist)
I love doing fandom stuff, and can do certain canons.
I don't have all that fancy coding technique, but am capable of slightly coded, nice looking forms/posts.
I understand LGBT, but don't wish to roleplay it, however MxM and FxF best friends only is perfectly fine.
Ye be warned I might have too much caffeine in my veins some days, but will try to stay as calm as possible.

An active partner (One post every 1-2 days I suppose, however I understand life comes first)

About Me

Hey! I'm Destry, and I'm looking for a 1x1 roleplay, obviously. I'm a literate roleplayer who REALLY likes good grammar/spelling/etc, and I normally write according to my partner, though I generally do between 200-600 words. I usually mirror posts. If you're doing 800+ words, I'll be excited for the challenge! I've been a roleplayer for around six years now, and I've done it in a variety of forms with quite a few different genres. I live in Eastern Standard Time, and will be online accordingly depending on my school and work schedule. I'll reply at least once a day if at all possible. I tend to prefer playing the male character but I have and will gladly play females as well. MxF relationships are what I'd like to do. I'll make my format fancy if you'd like, especially in character forms, but personally I don't like to really go crazy since I just don't have time for that. Most of the time I prefer OCs over canon characters since it allows for my own character development rather than being so restricted. I'd prefer to roleplay in forums vs. PM, but I'm fine with either. I won't abandon an RP without telling you, and if I do I'll give you a reason for it, though this is unlikely unless things are really just not working out for one reason or another. I love OOC and it would be awesome if you do too, but if you'd rather not and would rather just keep that to the plot, that's fine!

What I Ask For

• At least semi-lit, preferably 1+ paragraphs per reply, though I understand writer's block, it happens. PLEASE have good grammar and spelling.
• Active. If you could reply at least once a day that would be great. If there are things going on, such as family events or exams or anything like that, that's fine, just let me know. Life happens.
• That you'll help with plot ideas and twists, not just leaving it all up to me to do.
• Be nice. I'll treat you as you treat me.

Tokyo Ghoul
This one I'd much prefer to do offsite, due to the content of the manga/anime and the fact that it's basically unavoidable in any sort of roleplay based off of it without it just feeling like a superficial version not including the difficult topics covered. I was thinking it would be set in the universe of the first manga without the events of :Re having occurred yet, though I'm flexible on that point. One of us could be an investigator and the other a ghoul, or we could both be ghouls, whether artificial or natural. If you have other ideas feel free to PM me about them.

And here are a few mangas that are much more obscure, so I'm not going to look for people who already know the story. Instead I'll post a brief summary of the relevant plot and we'll go with OCs, though if you do know the manga that's awesome! If you want to do one of these but have never heard of/read the manga, don't feel like you have to understand more, it's really just the basic plot being borrowed for a more original roleplay, if that makes sense.

1/2 Prince
This one's fairly similar to Sword Art Online in some ways. Basically, virtual reality gaming is now a thing in an extensive world called Second Life. It's a fantasy RPG where they can experience everything their avatars do. The major difference from SAO is that they're not trapped and can freely move from their own lives to the game and back.

Cat Street
There's an alternative school for those who've dropped out of a more standard school for various reasons. There's no strict schedule and students are encouraged to learn what they want to, rather than have required subjects. Their own interests are what they focus on. There's a lot of freedom to have really strange characters in this one, pretty much anything you might want that's out of the ordinary or with a good reason for not being in a public school.

Half and Half
A man and woman bump into each other randomly on the street. After a short argument, both try to head their own ways - only to get hit by a bus and killed. A deity offers them both a second chance, with a few restrictions - neither can move more than ten feet from each other and they have a time limit ((We can choose however long)). At the end of the given time, one lives and the other dies, and they have to decide who will live, and who will die.

Horimiya
It's essentially a story about a girl and boy, both who have one image at school and another in their free time. In the manga, the girl is a popular, pretty girl at school and works as a makeshift mom for her younger brother at home. The boy appears to be a huge nerd, but is actually more punk when he takes off his glasses and pulls back his hair to reveal his earrings. They discover each other's second identities and start up a friendship/something more. For this one, we could use the base personalities described above or come up with our own, but either way I'd prefer to be the guy.

Misc.

Two siblings leaving their abusive home for foster care.

Two brothers born into royalty, the older passed over for inheritance because of physical deformities and the younger not wanting to be the heir, and their rocky relationship.

A good kid accidentally gets involved with a delinquent right at the wrong time, and both are forced to go through the same rehabilitation program. Or something along these lines.

Most varieties of humanoid supernatural roleplays, excluding vampires/werewolves and some other types, though if you have a good plot I'll consider virtually anything besides animal characters ((I suck at them, sorry)).

Police and criminal. A platonic or romantic relationship develops at some point, whether before the officer knows the other is a criminal or after, we'll work that out.

Former best friends meeting again for the first time in years.

An apocalyptic world where most people have been wiped out by a supervirus, though a few with immunity have survived. Two survivors find each other.

Forbidden romance/friendship stories, though preferably along with another plot as well.

Arranged marriage, could be made more interesting by having one/both of them fall in love with someone other than the one they're supposed to marry; we could double up for this one. Or just do it the more traditional way, I'm fine with either.

Two people who made the mistake of making a deal with a demon, and their lives after the disastrous fallout that occurs as a result. There are a number of things that can be done with this and I've got some ideas we could discuss over PM if you'd like.

Spies working together for a mission of some sort, maybe coming from normally opposing agencies that decided to form a temporary alliance for this specific case that's affecting both of them.

Modern stories based off of mythology. Not really gods, but rather just taking the essence of the story and applying it to a more current setting/story.

I'm open to suggestions! There are lots of books and movies I've read/watched and really enjoyed, go ahead and ask me if I'm familiar with what you'd like to try. I also love to hear other ideas for original plots or variations on my own ideas!

Hey! I hope I got your attention: I'm just your fellow Mobian friend secretly planning to take over the world with Sonic gifs friendly roleplayer who:
Has good grammar.
Is friendly.
Can play both genders.
Only does mxf romances but has nothing against people who do mxm/fxf.
Will occasionally change usernames.
Will not just abandon a roleplay without saying anything. If I do, it probably just means I've been busy or forgot.
