Aya sighed and bolted into the forest they were walking next to, soon climbing into a tree and just sitting. Maybe it'd be best if no one found her...

"no. they are not mine. they are free spirits that i will allow to leave me at anytime they choose. i wont keep them locked up if they don't want that" she said looking away. "i learnt that the hard way you see. i tried to force someone to do something and he ended up hating me and i haven't seen him since; but i have learnt not to." standing up she took the keys and attached them to the chain on her waist. she glanced back at the boy and smiled. "by the way what's your name? mine's sayo stone."

Steve sighed, everything was a disaster... Danny twisted his arm out of Steve's hand and ran after Aya. "Aya!" He yelled, "Please come back!" A couple tears ran down his cheeks. Steve was taken aback by this, "Da-" He said before he was cut off. "This was going to be my first job, everything was perfect. Everything was as great as mom told me it would be... Until both of you went haywire! Now-" He choked on a tear, "Now everything is ruined!" He fell to his knees and cried into his hands. Steve didn't know what to do, should he carry him home? Should they press on? Should they wait?

Her ears twitched, being a Dragon Slayer, she could hear them, Danny was crying. What was wrong with her? She sighed, well... why did Steven like her? She jumped out of the forest, looking down. "No mission is ever perfect, Danny."

He smiled softly. "That is good." he listened before she had said her name. "Drake Kurama, at your service."

"Then why does this seem like such a failure? Is this normal? This isn't anything like mom described it..." Danny said between sobs.

Steve gritted his teeth before speaking up, "Look, I am just making this awkward for you two. Two dragon-slayers is plenty for a small job like this. I can just go and it would take stress of off Aya. It'll be fine, you two are more than enough for this job." He simpered and waved his hand before turning around and walking toward the guild.
