Aaaah, finally got some time away from schoolwork. I've needed some freetime to myself for a whole... 24 hours actually, I hadn't realized it had been so short of a time since I had freetime.

What are your plumes relations to their family? Close? Or... not so close?
Yusssssss, I'm hyped to answer this since I've been working on everyone's families.
Felix - His family is very complicated. I want to say stuff, but I plan on writing about it, so I'll save the nitty gritty. He never sees his father anymore (or anyone on his father's side) but he does keep occasional contact with his mother. They still get alone, they're just distant. He is close with his uncle though (Nutella's father) and calls him every month or so with Ella's updates.
Kassidy - She loves her family to absolute bits and loves to talk about them and their traditions, but she was getting antsy and relishes some peaceful time away from them. She writes to them just about twice a week and never hesitates to keep close despite being on the mainland (as they're on a small island).
Nutella - She has a very strained relationship with her mother and tries to keep her off her mind at all possible times, but adores her father with all of her heart. However, Nutella thinks her father shooed her away and is trying to create an angsty, strained emotion towards him, but she loves him just too much on the inside. She knows almost nothing about her father's side of the family though, especially her aunt and uncle (Felix's parents). The only family she really knows besides her parents is Felix.
Shawnee - Shawnee loves her parents like every child does, but surely doesn't plan on going back to the childhood home anytime soon and enjoys not being under her parents' gaze. There's tension between her success and her parent' standards.

Do your plumes get anything from their family? Possessions, personality traits, views... anything!
Felix - Spoilers, sweetie! There is a family physical trait that's genetic that Felix kind of has? It's complicated. He shares a lot of personality with his mother, except that she's much more paranoid and anxious.
Kassidy - She was taught the family tactic of fishing with just her bare paws, something no one else on her home island knows how to do (besides her immediate family). Other than that, the Ackees and other island families don't really relish physical possessions like homeland people do.
Nutella - Nutella's bow came from her father before she left to live with Felix, and she has all sorts of secret recipes of her mother's that her mother doesn't even know Nutella has! Her family doesn't have any big heirlooms, but being the only daughter of two very wealthy and successful celebrities, she gets a lot should wills come into play.
Shawnee - Her family has a lucky horseshoe that's always passed down to the first born (and usually only born) son. Unfortunately, she's a girl (and the only child). Her father passed it down to her anyway, but her grandparents weren't terribly happy with it.

Do you have a favorite marking on your plume(s)? If so, which one?
Am I allowed to say all of Felix's markings? No? Well, whatever. I do love Nutella's facial markings and her feathers though!
I really love all of my plumies feathers especially.
