My eyes widen at her comment. "Hawk problem?! What?!" I nervously scan the above canopy of leaves, suddenly apprehensive to leave the kits in camp. I give a nervous glance back to the camp entrance. I'm fully prepared to launch myself back in the shaded clearing if even the tinniest squeal leaves a kits muzzle.

"What! A hawk problem!" I hissed in confusion. "I thought that was a random hawk or a sign starclan sent to bring me to amberclan." could it be all three... "Wait," I turned to Amberstar. "So the hawk that was after me, does it live around here?!" I kind of panicked a little. if it did, does that mean I am in danger, along with the rest of my new adopting clan. Starclan help me and the clan avoid the hawk, with all our power please lets get rid of this 'hawk problom'. I prayed to starclan and thought to myself. Mother please come soon.

Seeing Mossleap's reaction, i smiled. This molly is caring and protective of her clan...thank you for guiding me to make the right choice... I sighed, and nodded. "Yes...Losteye showed me a hawk's nest he had discovered....it belongs to the very same hawk that was chasing you, Icecrystal." I sighed, bowing my head.

I needed to calm down. the thought of the hawk being around scared me. "I am going to get some food for me and the clan, you know for letting me stay here." I mewed a quick good bye to Amberstar and Mossleap.

I watched Icecrystal leave, and then turned to look at Mossleap. "If your so concerned, i can show you where the nest is so you can keep an eye on it."

I give a small nod at her suggestion. If their was a nest, that most likely meant chicks. I'd always despised the fowl creatures, but could never bring myself to kill their innocent young. I knew that was the only way to protect our future generations, but I know I wouldn't be able to bare it if any kit of my were killed.

I sniffed around for pray. I smelled a vole. I crouched and slowly walked towards it. I jumped on it and I went limp. "lets save this... here". I buried it and went looking for more.
By the time I got to camp I had caught a vole, a mouse, a black bird, and a surprisingly plump pigeon that might feed two. I put them in the food pile. starclan thank you for these gifts to my new clan. I turned and walked to the middle of the camp, I lie down and dosed off.

I was in the woods looking for my mother. "Icecrystal, my daughter I'm over here." called her sweet voice. "Coming mother." I saw her under a giant weeping willow. "Where have you been mother? I have been looking every where for you." I said rubbing her side. "Why don't you visit soon. I miss you." she looked at me confused. "Daughter, I AM visiting you." she said concerned. I turned and saw my brother. "Why are you here?" my voice trembling. "Hello to you to, Icecrystal." he said with sarcasm. "Sorry hi." I rubbed agenced him, my voicestill shaken. "Why is mother here! Why are you here!" I was struck with fear. "Icecrystal, we are both with Starclan now." her voice sharp. "I died because I..." her voice faded to a complete stop. "Mother, no!" I woke up startled with fur on end. "Amberstar," I whispered, "Amberstar!" I ran to her as fast as I could. "Amberstar! My mother is in Starclan, she is dead!" I hissed in shock. I have been looking for her almost my entire life, and to find out the one I have been looking for is gone over a dream, I couldn't stand it. My body couldn't handle the state of panic, so I fainted.

I turned to go, my ears flicking back to Mossleap over my shoulder as i walked out of the camp. "The nest is this way, just follow me." As i entered the lush greenery, i marveled at how peaceful the woods could remain, even after all the action that had just occurred within its depth. Pushing my way past a rather large fern, i narrowed my eyes when i spotted the cats who had been with me when i had first been shown the nest just standing there. "What are you mouse-brains doing? This hawk may be a threat, but you have duties! The pile of prey is small, go hunt! Remark the borders! Do something other then just standing there like half-asleep kits!" I hissed, glaring at the cats.
