Drimaethor caught up to Guzore and saw that he knocked down another tree he started laughing even though he was trying to catch his breath. He enjoyed the race so much he didn't notice that everyone else weren't right behind them.

Drimaethor said in between breaths "Why don't we wait here for a bit I'm sure they'll know where to go" he gestured towards the fallen tree.
"Temporary pause in the race?"

"Let me check." Ferondir called.
He flew up over the trees.
Yes, there they were. Jacob riding his faithful companion, the two zoras jumping in and out of the water like dolphins, and Aneil, rolling like his cousin.
He flew back down.
"Yep."

Day 5 (Midday)/Guzore the Goron/20/Where: East Faron Woods/With:Drimaethor, Jack, and Ferondir

Alrighty then! Won't be much longer 'till we get to Arbor Harbor. Then we can say hi to Della's parents! I hope they aren't mad at us for taking her on a ghost-hunting adventure.
Come to think of it, Della's parents were probably worried sick about her. She'd been gone for nearly a week. They'd better find them as soon as possible to sort things out and explain what happened with the bandits.

Jack had hit the ground in a roll after the tree he had landed on had... fallen over? Jack walked over to the others and shrugged his shoulders.
"Well that was fun. Hey Ferondir, did you see Zeph?"

Ferondir didn't know what to think of her parents. For one thing, she was almost always smiling, for another, she was really quiet.
They could be the nicest people, or the worst. It was impossible to tell.
"Now that you mention it, no," Ferondir said. "He knows where we are going, though."
He didn't see Della either. "I hope they don't get lost."
Della was very young, after all, and she didn't get along too well with Zeph.
Then again, maybe this would help them trust each other.
Maybe he'd just keep an eye on them, but...
He needed a second opinion.
He turned to Guzore.
"Should I go back and find them?"

Day 5 (Midday)/Guzore the Goron/20/Where: East Faron Woods/With: Drimaethor, Jack, and Ferondir

Hmm, maybe. I'm not as worried about those two arguing as I am about Zeph and Jakub. Those two don't seem to get along with each other very well, and I don't understand why.
Could it be a personality clash? Maybe they both just wanted to be in charge? Maybe they were both having a bad day. After all, they were both nice people. They just didn't seem to see each other that way.

Jacob was hurling towards them at the moment, so his view of Zeph wasn't the issue. Unless Ferondir had just missed Zeph somehow.
Still undecided, he turned and looked back the way he had come.
Of course he couldn't depend on Guzore to give him a solid answer. Despite being the most physically solid, (he was basically a boulder) he had the most liquid opinions.
"Hmmm," He decided he'd clime a tree, and watch the others.

He could see everyone but Zeph and Della.
Jacob and the Zoras were nearly upon them. Though Azniel seemed to be examining something on the ground.
He listened for their voices. But they'd gone almost two miles.
Was he a meddlesome type of person, or was this worry right?
He'd go back. The worst that would happen is he'd be giving Della a way out of trusting Zeph. Zeph was diving into some pretty dark magic after all. A daemon in his room? Scars on his wrist? More secretive behavior? What if the time came for Zeph to pay for his magic and the daemon took over? Della wouldn't stand a chance.
He dropped from the tree a little too hard and started back the way he'd come.

Della Collern/13/ColorBlind/Where: On the way to Arbor Harbor/With: her team

Della mostly stayed close to Guzore during the trip, wondering what she was going to tell her parents. She knew her friends might get in trouble for taking her on the trip, but she knew she was going to be in bigger trouble for going with them and not even sending so much as a postcard to her parents. "Hey Guzore..." She murmured quietly, looking up at the Goron. "Do you think my parents will let me keep adventuring with you?"

It was true Zeph was messing in some powerful- Powerful- magic.
He wouldn't be able to be found just yet. He was doing something...clever.
Zeph had made what he would call "a breakthrough".
It turns out the runes can edit more than just inanimate objects.
His next step? Removing his curse and ending this.
The curse isn't as powerful as you might of thought.
Also. Demon* Not Daemon- theres a difference.

Day 5 (Midday)/Guzore the Goron/20/Where: East Faron Woods/With: Della, Drimaethor, Jack, and Ferondir

Guzore hadn't really considered whether or not they'd still be allowed to adventure with Della after they got to Arbor Harbor. Her addition to their team added a nice balance of normality and consistency in contrast to the ghost hunting, body switching, tree tossing, and inner demon encounters of their adventure. At least her wondering about her parents' approval showed that she enjoyed being a part of their group.
I'm not sure, but I hope so.
Guzore realized that his once again "maybe" answer wouldn't help this time. He needed to be more solid.
Hey, don't worry. You're a reasonable and understanding person, so I'm sure your parents probably are too. I bet they'll be thankful that we kept you safe with the whole bandit attack and stuff.
Guzore grinned.
