Describe Their Stable:
The stable is lined with thick oak painted with golden paint, the tips of each board having a deep forest green within the cracks and crevices. The roof is a triangle shape with three appendages coming out from the sides, and one in front, large poles holding the roof from falling. There were two large windows on the back and front, the side containing doors and windows for the equines to poke their heads out or head into the large pastures separated for the horses on both sides of the stable. The floor in the front of the stable is gravel, turning into a soft sand as you walk inside. Stalls line the sides, each a different colour corresponding to the horse it sheltered, and had name plats for each one of them. At the left of the entrance, there's a storage room for the tack and the different items needed for everyday chores. To the right of the entrance, there was a grooming area that was a little damp, as it was just used. Two clips on each side of the room so the halter of the horse could be tied up to be groomed. The back of the room had shelves where each of the grooming tools where stored, so it would be easier to grab what was needed and place it back where it belonged easily. Walking from the grooming room, a red stall can be seen when walking towards the main walkway of the stable. The stall has metal bars wide enough for the equine to poke their head through. The stall its self is about 7'8 height, 6' width, which is a large stall to the standard. This was the largest stall of the barn, as the others were just a standard size of 7'6 height 6'width. Each floor of the stalls were wood, covered with soft flax, which the plant required to make the substance is also grown in one of the unused pastures. When you head out of the stall and walk down to the back of the barn, you will come upon an office entrance. Two plants sit on the sides of the door, while bits and pieces of scattered sand lie on boards that separate the stable and the working area of the barn. To the left of the door, there is a latter that leads up to the hayloft, which is filled with hay.... Obviously. On the other side, a small room has been made into a makeshift room for two Aussies that live within the barn but they aren't there at the moment. When you enter the door, you will come across a dark oak desk cluttered with papers marked with important notes needed to keep the horses happy and healthy. The sides of the room each had a window lined with a pale oak wood, and shelves to accompany the storage of papers and other items. At the back of the room, glass shields off awards won by different equines, each of a different strategy used to achieve them. Ribbons hang from the wall, adding to the mess. A computer and printer lay in between the award stands, which seems to be the source of the papers. Looking out the window, rolling fields of green with a white fence separating the land laid in the distance, with horses wandering about aimlessly, exploring their home. One looks towards the window, as if saying hello, welcoming you to their home.
