I'm just going to go off a wild epiphany and guess that this is Nadine's? Just because the eyes have that unique dewy(?) look to them, like they did in the Summer Event Gummy Shark dogs. I could be completely wrong though.

Because i'm in the mood of more researching:
Lets move on with Berkshire

- My pup does not have googly eyes. it does have some amount of orange on it

Lets ignore al Pets that have nothing orange on them and the breathholding pup
*I will only show the ones i removed from the list*
But not this time to many xD

- My staff pet is not based on an aquatic animal!

I removed these:

For the last one: could it be that this isnt a flower but indicates a squid??? I removed it as well!

- My dog has something in common with 1 or more of my previous pets.

Okay… so i browsed though the gallery and i realized something:
-glossy higlights
-a glass pup
-Unicolored pets

So… lets filter all pets out that doesnt fit in any of these. I removed these:

- does have line edits!

Well… This doesn't really have Line edits… Only removed the tail so removed it:

- Also, not all my hints actually make sense to the pup. Some only apply to the adult.

Well I have no clue about this hint, but maybe it gets clear after it had grown? :
- Not a merchant!
