I have come up with-
person a slowly dying in person b's arms, and person a is laughing about it, and person b is just smiling and crying

the GRAVITY FALLS UP AU -
where dipper ends up with Bill, after years together mabel passes away, bill and dipper end up moving on after that, but dipper always seems distant and sad. Bill buys something for dipper, and the two race off but dipper collapses cuz he's getting old, and ends up in hospital
and bill sends the journal through the window
