Tala silently made her way to the old temple, the evening was finally upon them. Behind her she led the group of Grey Warden Recruits, each of the shrouded with fear or anxiousness. I can feel it in the air. But this is no uncommon occurrence. They have to be brave, not only for themselves but for each other. Tala knew what happened to Grey Wardens who didn't want to go through with the ceremony. It wasn't a pleasant scenario, and she'd rather avoid unnecessary death if she could. Wordlessly, she stopped and waved her arm to let the warden recruits pass, entering into the temple. They were surrounded by tall, ancient pillars that whispered of a different time. Torches were lit along the walls, and ancient text was carved into the walls. Tala watched them pass, each looked more terrified as the light of the flames reflected in their dilated pupils. Remembering her Joining, she understood the fear well, and the temptation to run. Except she didn't, and look where the Warden Commander ended up. As the last entered, she turned on her heel and made her way to Duncan and the other commanders, standing beside them. Her robe swished as she turned to look at those they had chosen, they who they thought had been 'worthy' enough. Those they were sending to their death. Regardless if they make it through or not they will all die, she thought grimly, We will all die. The Calling will come for us soon enough. Expressionless, her eyes flicked to the table next to them. It was lined with multiple viles of dark, thick blood. Darkspawn blood to be in fact. Raising her chin and trying not to show her discomfort of the whole situation, she turned her gaze back to the recruits.

Milo followed the wardens in suit, walking slowly in the back. His dark eyes scanned his surroundings, a brooding look implanted on his face. The ancient holdings reminded him of Orzammar, but then again it's energy didn't in the slightest. As they enter the temple, he stopped at the entrance, letting others pass. The commanders, including Duncan stood up at the front, watching them with an even gaze as they entered. Milo then spotted the viles of blood, and the hair raised on the back of his neck. "By the Stone...." he muttered to himself, wrinkling his nose. Being a dwarf of noble status, he knew well what darkspawn bloody looked like, the colour a dark, crimson red with black streaks running through it. It was tainted and evil ; his armour used to be covered in it whenever they did raids in the deep roads to clear them out. I swear by the Stone if they make us drink that filth... he thought, furrowing his brow. Knowing full well he couldn't turn back, he stepped into the crowd of recruits, making his way to the side so he could see what was happening.
