Antlerclaw seized his conversation with his sister when Riversong approached them, his ears swiveling forward. She was a pretty molly, and the sunlight was hitting her fur just nicely, making it shine. He flicked his tail, casting any thoughts he may have had aside and glanced in the direction Riversong looked. The fur along his spine pricked slightly, but he didn't move from his spot.
"
Oh?"
Fallownose looked over as well, seeing the grey tom. Her ears went back for a moment before she looked down at her paws, disappointed she wasn't able to scent him out. She didn't even notice another cat in camp!
Hickoryflight pressed against her slightly.
"
He does look promising. So long as Pantherstar allows him in camp, I have no problem with more warriors," Antlerclaw continued, looking back at Riversong. He smirked at her observation and nodded. "
We did, thank you for noticing. 'Thought we'd sharpen Snailpaw's hunting skills with a little harmless mission. You don't think Pantherstar would mind, do you?"
Excitement passed over
Snailpaw as Riversong gazed at her.
"
I climbed a tree after a squirrel and caught it," she purred proudly.
Antlerclaw looked away, almost in embarrassment. "
Now you can expect me to bring back prey other than voles and mice." She glanced towards the freshkill pile, noticing Stormpaw had woken up. Maybe they'd be training together?
Hickoryflight's fur lay flat and he smiled up at Riversong gratefully.
"
I wonder what Frost's warrior name shall be? " His fur was a little blue in color. It reminded him of blueberries.
Rednose quickly swiped at a bluegill that swam by, hooking his claws into its side and tossing it ashore. He slithered through the water with ease and killed it quickly, carrying it over to a small pile of fish he'd been working on. He wasn't even sure if anyone would eat it other than himself. But at least hunting fish is easier than chasing squirrels.
