Ash's eyes widened. He rarely thought about love. He didn't know what to respond with. He just kind of stared at his paws with his ears lowered. He didn't really like any wolf in the pack at the moment, but hated the thought of turning down the fae. But he couldn't spend the rest of his life with a she-wolf he didn't truly have feelings for. He had to say no, but in the nicest way possible. Ash looked up at Kayla, into her eyes. "I know, you love me, and you want to be my mate, and I get it. But I don't have an interest of any wolves in the pack at the moment," he replied, trying his best not to hurt Kayla's feelings.

The brute felt his jaws widened as he was listening to the conversation between the alpha and the pup in the body of an adult, he hit the ground with his paw and slammed his muzzle hard onto the flooring, he laughed and hit his paw down a few more times "Well that just made my week, hold on let me act it out 'ooh ash guess what I love you like an insane pup.'He said laughing to himself quietly.

The she-wolf was being nosey so she listened and shook her head growling to herself "Stupid mongrel of a wolf."She said to herself before turning around immediately and entering her den once again.

with a stone cold face stone stood up and walked back to camp. she walked to her den and layed down without saying a work. stone glazed at ash and the other two wolves. without a second glace she stood again and walked away not wanting to deal with the head over heals she-wolf anymore.

Ash looked down. He hoped Kayla's feelings weren't hurt. Maybe he could ask his sister for advice? But where would he find her? Ash looked back up at Kayla. "I think you should start hunting now," he said to her with a half-smile. He was eager to go find Jewel, now.

The black wolf looked to Kayla, his amber eyes gleaming. Thane nodded to the other hunter, signaling that it was time to find food. "We're on our way," he said to Ash, having overheard the alpha's suggestion to go hunting. Nose twitching, Thane started out into the forest, glancing back to see if Kayla was following.

The gray and white she-wolf trotted along the lake's shore, enjoying the wild scents that wreathed around her. The water lapped lazily at the sand, and Karliah delicately submerged her paws as she bent down to drink. The water is as cool and refreshing as ever, she thought, droplets glistening on her whiskers as she straightened back up. As Karliah made her way back toward the rest of the pack, she stopped intermittently to leave territory markers. It was her job as a scout to make sure the territory was defended.
