The bright sun had fianlly reached a high enough point to shine through the curtains Espella had carefully drawn tightly shut the night before. No matter how hard I try, I can't sleep past this time every day. Even from under her covers the sun was quite obviously too bright to be real. Back in Espella's home, the sun was never bright enough to shine through her curtains. Then again, her curtains at home were lined with the purpose of blocking out the sunlight.

The sound of steps running across the floor below her bedroom set Espella's ears upright. It was obviously Virva come to bug her about something she hadn't done yet. Virva's problem, Espella had decided long ago, was that she worried too much. Things would always happen when they needed to. Espella never saw the reason to sign a form right away if she could leave it for a few days and then send it. Meetings were the worst for her poor comrade however. The thought of meetings stirred a memory in her groggy, sleep-laden mind, but before anything could come to fruition in that empty, slow cavernous cavity in her head, Virva's light knocking and question , which had a certain feeling of urgency to it, chased the thought away. "Of course I'm up. You know I love waking up early." Her sarcastic voice was barely loud enough to travel across the room so Espella wasn't even sure that the guild's first in command had heard her comment. Why would Virva rush her in the mornings? Espella's friend knew full well getting up before noon was NOT her forte. There must be an awfully important meeting or something for this to be happening. Wait a minute... Meeting?! With her memory finally up to something more than a dead standstill, the dragon slayer recalled there was a meeting between the major guilds scheduled for that morning. How much time did they have before it started?

Not more than a minute passed before Espella had pulled her on her clothes, which she had lain out the night before in case such a problem arose from infamous love of sleep. "You know, you could have woken me up earlier!" The irritation in her voice was more directed at herself than her best friend who had inevitably tried to wake Espella multiple times to no avail. She pulled the door open and stood face to face with the guild master of The Valkyries and her best friend, Virva.

For Virva the silence from the other side of the door was palpable, she knew that her friend detested mornings but today that was no helping it. Then as if to reassure Virva a grumble came from the other side of the door a sign that Espella was finally up (if not fully conscious) which meant they had hope of being on time. Suddenly the room in front of her came to life with a series of shuffles and bangs as it seemed that her friend had remembered the meeting. "You know, you could have woken me up earlier!" came Espella's irritated voice as the young dragon slayer pulled open the door.
Knowing her friend she knew that the irritation was more directed towards Espella than to herself Virva overlooked the accusation and instead grabbed her friends hand and started running downstairs. "Sorry! You're up now though so it's a moot point," she replied trying to mask her previous panic with her comment, "Anyways we have about fifteen minutes to make it and we're only a few minutes away from the meeting place." she added hoping to convince herself along with Espella. As they made it to the ground floor of the guild hall Virva whistled softly summoning Cuán waiting only long enough for him to make it down to them before Virva swiftly left with Espella in tow and Cuán trailing behind.
Outside the sky was now a rich bright blue, the sun risen and the day begun. Adventurers poured into the streets some heading to the outskirts of the city to harvest ingredients, others heading towards the market, and yet still others who sat around doing nothing. In the first few days Virva had seen players panic and in that panic lose the will to live (not that death was final here) so some just sat and sat refusing to accept their new reality. If it hadn't been for Espella Virva knew that she could've very well been one of those players who'd given up. As the large clock in town centre got closer Virva quickly pushed her thoughts away and breathed a sigh of relief "See? We made it." she said glancing at Espella.

Silver Shadows:
He looked up and stopped his pacing, suprise written on his face. He gave the two ladies a smile and rested his hand on the hilt of his sword in a calm and smooth manner. "Good day, ladies." He scanned them over carefully, taking note of Cuán. *one must be a tamer.* he thought to himself. The two seemed familiar and he thought about it. Suddenly he remembered. They were the leader and second in command of team Valkyrie. He may have lived out in the mountains but that did not mean he wasn't well informed. Many traders would come for the mountains minerals and goods made from dragons and would ask them for help gaining safe passage. Through this many tales were passed of many different guilds. What always set Valkyrie apart though was the fact that it was led by two women, something not often seen around here nowadays. "May I ask who I am speaking too?" Of course he already knew who they were but It would be creepy if he just said their names. He certainly didn't want to seem creepy in front of two beautiful women like them.

Kyo Sasaki

Foxtail
Kannagi
Alchemist
Tags; Open

Kyo had been wandering around Yliss since early that morning, not in the best mood. The day was fine and crisp, but the weather had nothing to do with him feeling down. Ever since the apocalypse nothing felt the same. He hadn't hardly dared to go out in fear of what awaited. Kyo needed to find a guild or at least a group of people to stick with, or he wouldn't get anywhere with his healing class. As he strolled along, he had his head down, occasionally glancing to the sides. He saw a young man with silver hair speaking to two girls, one with brown hair and the other with vivid pink locks. Kyo kept his hands clasped together behind his back, looking away from the three.

Taro Fuji

Elf
Guardian
Tracker

Taro had woken up late-not that his rising time really mattered to him all that much. The day started out like any other in the land of (..oops I forgot the one city's name, I know it started with a Q though), his usual grin on his pale face, walking around in search of companionship. 'Shame on you, Taro!' he scolded himself but didn't take it to heart. 'Its been days since the apocalypse and yet you haven't found a single friend!' the young man continued smiling. "Much less a guild." he finished out loud, voice tender. He really wanted to get out and explore with some hearty people, to him the battles were great fun. His thick and heavy armor clanked as he walked along, ever reminding him of his role as a guardian.

Liin Niijan
13/Appears 17
Race of Ritual
Assassin
Chef
Tags; Open

Liin was out 'n' about just outside of Vraadon, cold eyes scanning their surroundings. Their hand was clutching a long dagger tightly as they crept through the overgrown outskirts. Liin was merely looking for some low-level monsters to practice on, not having any real plans for the day. They hadn't really done anything truly productive since the Apocalypse until today, so Liin was merely trying out some things. Although the Assassin had mostly stayed in the city, they hadn't come upon any adventurers that they thought were worth teaming up with. A guild seemed too large at the moment, maybe one or two players about Liin's level or higher and they'd be satisfied. The adventurer continued the silent trek, not making a single noise.

The limitation of time was the only thing that kept Espella's mouth shut about having to wake up early. On the up-side it helped clear her head of the last of the befuddlement in her brain. When Cuán joined herself and Virva as they hurried out the front door, Espella noticed that despite her friend's ability to conceal her worry from most people, she could always tell when something was wrong. The two of them could have just have easily summoned horses to cut the travel time down, but the distance wasn't too far. In fact they only had to run a few blocks to reach the centre of town. Before the clock was completely visible in it's full glory, Espella's nose picked up the scent of someone she didn't recognize right away. It was different than those who lived in and around Akihabara. She could pick out the scent of pine trees and cold air that seemed to permeate even his skin and cling to his clothing. That must be the one from Qroisas Her senses picked up another presence not too far away. Her eyes found a young man who was looking in their direction. His gaze flicked away a moment later but Espella had already picked up on his interest. What was more, he wasn't built offensively like their group of three by the clock. Maybe he's a mage? Her thoughts ended there as Virva stopped, making Espella pull up a few steps after that. The younger looking person before her looked to be around their age, but who knew anything about anyone for certain these days? Actually they were all just a bunch of ones and zeros that appeared as had been designed before the Apocalypse. "Nice to meet you. I'm Espella. Second in command of the Valkyries guild stationed here in Yliss." Her hand extended towards the adventurer, aware that she and Virva were both slightly out of breath from rushing over to the meeting spot. It was important that she kept her concentration on the important meeting ahead of them. Espella's ears pricked upward, interested in both the conversation that would soon take place between the three of them as well as the strange boy she had noticed earlier.

Stopping just in front of the large clock Virva released Espella's hand and took a few calming breaths, they'd made it on time...no panic needed, at least not now. Looking around the young bard could see more and more guild leaders and second-in-commands begin pouring into the city centre, some of them Virva recognized while a few others remained a mystery to the young bard. Despite her own guild being large and fairly well known Virva still felt out of place amongst all of these leaders, perhaps because very few were women but more likely because Virva was not one to recognize her own leadership capabilities.
"Good day, ladies." a man asked interrupting her thoughts, turning to face him Virva was surprised (and relieved) to see a young man around her age. Though his appearance suggested a teenage boy his mannerism suggested he was older and added to the fact that their avatars hadn't changed since the apocalypse, who could say for sure? Something about him was familiar though but no matter how hard Virva thought about it she couldn't quiet put her finger on it. "May I ask who I am speaking too?" he asked breaking her thoughts for a second time.
Espella was the first to introduce herself "Nice to meet you. I'm Espella. Second in command of the Valkyries guild stationed here in Yliss." Her friend sticking out a hand to shake and her ears perking up in interest.
"And I'm Virva, leader of the Valkyrie guild." Virva added nodding her head in greeting her voice not betraying her inner anxiety about the meeting that was to take place. Rather than overwhelming the boy with another hand to shake Virva kept her hands at her side, at least until she felt soft warm fur pushing against her hand; Cuáns' way of demanding attention which Virva happily obliged. "I'm sorry but I didn't catch your name." Virva added a polite smile painted on her face.

Silver Shadows:
He smiled calmly at the two and chuckled. "That would be because I have yet to give it. My name is Silver Shadows." He took Espella's hand and shook it respectfully before bowing slightly to Virva. He rose and said, "I am the leader of The Order Of The Guardians. You probably haven't heard of us. We don't have very many members." He quickly noticed Espella's attention was not all on him and passed it off. After all, there were several different guilds around here right now. If he hadn't already been here for about 30 minutes he would be curious as well. His gaze then turned to where Virva was petting Cuán. His eyes softned and for a second his gaze became wxcited. "May i pet it?" He asked glancing at Virva. They didn't have many tamers up in his guild and those they did either had reptile like beasts or wouldn't let him pet them. He absolutley adored animals and loves to be around them.

Friday Lupine:
It was mid morning when she finally reached the city of Yliss. The young fox-tail was exhausted from her travels but she knew the now was not the time for sleeping. It was time to get to work. Pulling out the drawing she did of her brother she immediately went around and started asking anyone she could see about him. None had seen or heard anything. After a while she had begun to get discouraged. After another disappointment she sighed and rubbed her eyes with hands in exhaustion. She was just so sick of this. Every city it was the same exact thing. She'd get all excited, thinking that this time she would find him. Then she would be harshly crushed down and frustrated when she couldn't find him. Then a young lady she had asked pointed her towards where the guild was meeting. Her ears perked up in hope. Certainly one of the guilds would know of his location? They were scattered all across the land after all. She quickly made her way towards the large clock that the lady had pointed her to and, with fingers crossed, pushed her way into the crowds.

She made it near them in about ten minutes, falling right behind two people and a beast. She was upwind from them so she suspected they wouldn't have scented her. Or the wolf fang for that matter. She stopped right before she reached the people. Nerves tightened in her stomach and, suddenly she felt fear. A fear of disappointment. She had been crushed down so many times in the past year that she felt like if she were to be told no once more she might just break. As if sensing her unease, her favorite beast and partner appeared. The creature was small, not one expected to be used for battle. In the body as small as a cat and the appearance ofof a golden griffon with bright yellow eyes the creature flew over and rested on it's place at her shoulder. she smiled as it nuzzled her and clicked it's beak. "Come on icarus. Let's go find big brother." Icarus nodded at her and she walked over trying to get the attention of the guild leaders. ( open)

Kuro had been the one to find his brother; Thorne after being apart for a month or so. Without one another the two twins couldn't function, but Kuro kept his head on better than his brother Thorne. He had found Thorne all ruffed up and had made enemy's with everyone. Truthfully Kuro was surprised that he wasn't more like a chicken with its head cut off. After being reunited with each other they set off on their own. Which was normal for the twins they haven't joined a guild yet, but they've been in a party with each other since the beginning. Kuro and Thorne were now walking into the entrance of the city of Yliss. Kuro was wearing his white robe with his hood down. His staff clearly showing as he walked with it. It was pretty obvious that he was a healer just with the way he was dressed. Kuro was now beginning to get used to some of the stares from other people. Clerics were in hot demand right now and especially Clerics or his skillset. Guilds kept coming up to him and asking even pleading for him to join them. He has turned them all down so far. Kuro was he walked used his free hand to run his hand through his hair that wasn't in the ponytail. "Yo Kuro what are we going to be doing in Yliss?" Kuro was brought out of his blankness by his brothers voice. He turned his head to look at his identical twin. His yellow eyes meeting the same colored eyes. Then he shrugged and continued walking. "WHAT?! You don't know? Why did we travel from Krose to here than?" Thorne practically yelled at Kuro who only rolled his eyes at his brother. "I don't know. Cause I felt like it." Kuro simply stated to Thorne who became red-faced in anger. He ran both hands through his platinum blonde hair. Thorne was wearing his normal armor. His swords were hanging in their holders that was tied to his hips. Thorne while walking threw a mellow dramatic tantrum tamper. Kuro looked at his brother from the corner of his eye and saw him having a small anger filled conversation with himself. "Yes Thorne we just travelled all this way for NO apparent reason. Sorry that I dragged you along my dearest brother Thorne. I should've told you first that we were going to travel for no reason. Aren't I such a good brother? Haha look at me I have a staff. Tee-Hee I am a Cleric and everyone wants me. Haha... Ugh Kuro I hate you!" Thorne said to himself, but at the end he turned to Kuro and pushed Kuro. Kuro sighed and looked at his brother. He still seemed a tad bit angry, but he wouldn't stay that way for long. "You don't hate me. I came here so I could get away from all those guilds who kept pestering us." Kuro said as he looked to his brother, but this time Thorne was the one to roll his eyes. "Psh please Kuro. They just wanted you. They didn't want me, they only wanted me so that they would get you." Thorne spit back at Kuro. "True, that's why we left." Kuro calmly said back. "You aren't supposed to agree to that! I'm a valuable player! Guilds would be lucky to have me! Who needs a weakling like you?" Thorne snapped back, "Then why did the guild always come up to me and not you?" Kuro said with a smirk on his lips. "You know what Kuro! Ugh... Whatever. We're in Yliss now and I bet I'll get more attention than you this time." Thorne stated out loud. Kuro kept his smirk on his face, "Fine with me. You can get as much attention as you want. You are gaining a lot right now." Kuro spoke quietly to his brother as he was referring to the people staring at Kuro and Thorne as they argued. They were staring at Thorne mostly because he was being very loud. Thorne looked around to see what his brother was referring to and saw the people staring. "What are staring at? Mind your own business! " Thorne yelled at the crowd as they continued to walk. Kuro just shook his head at his brother. Yet this was just Thorne being Thorne and Kuro wasn't mad at him for being himself.

She had turned, a bit alarmed when she heard yelling. A bit curious at the two young men yelling she listned in as much as she could from her place but yipped when the one yelled at the crowd. She was about to run off the other way when Icarus flew off her shoulder and pulled on her ear. "Ow! What was that for, you jerk!" She said batting the small griffon away with her hand. It glared at her and she just sighed. "Fine. We'll ask. But don't cry to me when they don't know where he is." She grumbled almost disappointingly. She flicked her tail and nervously approached the two. "Excuse m-me." She said stumbling over her words as nerves began to creep up. She fumbled with the picture she drew of her brother as she tried to show it to them. "I was w-wondering if either of you h-have seen my brother." She looked up to them hopefully.

Kuro at the sound of a voice he turned his head towards it. His yellow eyes met a girl holding up a picture of some guy. However Kuro's eyes looked at the small griffon. He observed the small creature, but than the girl asked if they had seen her brother. Which Kuro assumed was the picture of the man she was holding up. Thorne was the first one to respond, "No we haven't. Sorry." He said in a nice voice. Kuro was glad that his brother didn't snap at the girl because he seemed to be in a hot-headed kind of mood. Kuro nodded in agreement to Thorne's statement. He felt bad for the girl. He didn't like it when he and Thorne were separated so he would be desperate to if Thorne wasn't with him. "How long has be been gone?" Kuro asked in a calm somewhat shy voice. Maybe he wasn't lost, but maybe he just travelled somewhere without telling her. Maybe he was even looking for her.
