Up. ^^remembet. The rule to finding the sum of the exterior angels is n-2×180 so using that, you are able to figure out how many sides the polygon has by reversing the equation.

Edit: N being the number of sides

TYPE OF QUESTION:Geometry - Points, Lines, and Rays
YOUR QUESTION:If ED (segment one) = x+4 and DB (segment two) = 3x-8, Find ED (segment one), DB (segment two) and EB (combo of segment one and two). I don't know if the question is real obvious or if there's a trick somewhere.

Is this all the information given? I believe we need information on the comparison between ED and DB before we can solve the equation but I may be wrong, I just don't see how we can find a solution without an equation.

Ah, okay. We do have that ED is congruent to DB by the congruency markings so we can set ED=DB, therefore x+4=3x-8.
This solves by subtracting x from each side to get 4=2x-8, then adding 8 to both sides to get 12=2x and dividing by 2 to get x=6.
Now we know that ED=x+4 or 6+4 (because x=6) so ED=10.
DB=3x-8 or 18-8 (again, because x=6), so DB also equals 10 (which we could have gotten by saying that ED=DB but solving it helps check our solution for x).
EB=ED+DB or 10+10, so EB=20.

'tis a little hard to read my work but if you need anything cleared up please ask.

It's easier than you think. Take a deep breath!

So with the slope of -3/4, it means it is going down "3" points and over to the right "4" points. (rise over run is the same as y/x)
Now, adding the appropriate values would be the following:
y-coordinate: -2-3=-5
x- coordinate: 6+4=10.

Your new point is (10, -5). I hope this helped!
