"You know you can tell me Russetstorm." He murmurs his eyes serious as he looked over at the other tom. "You really can I promise I don't bite. . . hard." He laughs.

[plastic taste]

Hmph. He huffed and leaned on Sunbeam's shoulder numbly, looking at his paws. He hiss as a spasm of pain rippled through him, causing Hawkleap to gasp in pain and fall onto the ground.

Sunbeam

"Hawk leap?" She asks looking down at him her eye wide with fear. "What happened?" She crouched down beside him licking his pelt. She glanced around. "This might be cold but it will help." She explains pressing some snow onto his wounds. She did it gently though.

The Tom frowned. "There was a tom, when I was an apprentice who I really liked....I told him and he rejected me. It would have been fine, I could have avoided him, if he hadn't been my mentor. Almost every training session he taunted me...." He looked away awkwardly. "And his words still haunt me to this day...."

[plastic taste]

Just some-some p-pain. He hissed through clenched teeth. He sighed as snow was padded on him, it cooled down his body even though it was leaf-bare.

Jaywing--> tom ~ 19 moons ~ warrior ~ forest -Sunbeam, Hawkleap
Jaywing has been wondering around for quite some time now but still wasn't able to find Sunbeam. He got worried. He then found a faint smell of Hawkleap and Sunbeam and saw the trail that they left in the snow. Jaywing felt some relief glad that Sunbeam wasn't alone. He followed the trail but saw that there was blood in the snow. He stopped and looked back.. he was heading in the right direction.. they were heading from the border. "What happened?" he said to himself and there was fear in his eyes. He ran on the trail till they saw the two cats. He could see that Hawkleap was on the ground. He ran to Sunbeams side and saw that they were both hurt. "Sunbeam! What happened?" he said worried and looked at Hawkleap hoping that they will be able to get to camp. "Come on we have to get you back to camp." he said suddenly not really caring what happened. He went on the other side of Hawkleap and helped him get up.

Webgaze --> tom ~ 98 moons ~ deputy ~ Camp - Darkstar
Webgaze dipped his head and entered the leaders den. "I just wanted to report that the snow is till high.. but the weather seemed to be getting warmer so I think and hope that thing will start to get better." the older tom said. "And also me and Jayywing were hunting and he did a good job so now the fresh-kill pile is quite full.. still not enough but better than in a moon." he added with a smile and lashed his tail.

Sunbeam

She helps Hawkleap to his paws. "Just try to walk." She murmurs in his ear, she licked his cheek then looked on ahead. They were quite a ways from the camp. "I know you are a strong cat but can you make it? I don't want you passing out." She meows looking over at Hawkleap.

Darkstar

He nods slowly. "Jay wing is a good warrior and we are lucky to have him and you in the clan." The leader tilted his head thoughtfully. "Yes the pile seems full again but it might become just a bloody patch of earth again. You know how much cats eat sometimes when they are starving."

Stone paw

"Oh." He presses his pelt against Russetstorm's. "I'm sorry. He should be happy that you had trusted him enough to tell him that." He explains a bit of a growl in his usually calm voice.

"Yeah but, some cats aren't as accepting as others. And I cant change that." He closed his eyes and thought for a second, reminding himself the tom was only comforting him, and fighting every urge just to nuzzle him.

"Well that was cruel of him." He meows and then looked over at Russetstorm. "I'm sorry you had to go through that." He meows. He felt something for Russetstorm but he didn't quite know what.
