Dad Mohatu - Hearing his name causes a huge smile to spread across Kalari’s face. She adores her dad and will do just about anything to spend time with him. She really likes how relaxed he is when around her and her siblings, she often takes this for advantage so she can go outdoors without supervision. He is also the definite "go to" dad when asking questions, she always asks him first because she likes the way he does things. She likes learning lessons by experiencing the mistake head on and then going back to him to ask for some further advice. Looking up to him as a role model, Kalari wants to be a lot like her dad when she gets older. She likes to see him as the calm yet somewhat protective father, and that is what Kalari wants to be. She knows that he can be pretty grumpy, but she doesn’t like to put that against him because she knows that she too can be a grouch at times. She enjoys trying to wrestle her dad more than anything, she has a blast trying to tackle him to the ground during a friendly daughter-father match.
Pa Brax - Don’t get her wrong, Kalari loves her old man but just can’t help but feel closed in by him. She would rather be outside, unattended to, and having fun in the dangerous desert then be stuck inside a pretty much Kalari fun proof house. She understands that her pa is protective over his kids, but she really hates the fact that he is overprotective. Nor does she enjoy the way he bubble wraps near everything. She really doesn’t want to hurt his feelings, but to make sure he knows how uncomfortable she is with what he does, she will honestly tell him he is “going overboard” when she thinks that he has gone a bit too far trying to protect her. One place that the two can certainly see eye-to-eye about is Brax’s heavy metal band. Kalari loves going to his gigs; she will throw her hands in the air and scream her pa’s name as loud as she can to show her appreciation to his great music. When he is practicing a gig, Kalari will often sneak in and pound some pots and pans with drumsticks so she can feel as though she is a part of her favorite heavy metal band.
Brother Nuka - Just looking at her lil’bro makes Kalari want to sneeze with anger, it has nothing to do with how outgoing he is but rather his arrogance. She absolutely hates how he thinks he is so much more important than others. She also despises the way he uses his larger size as an advantage to mess with her and even toss her around. Despite this, she tries her best to get along with her bro, but often to no use. To make sure that he gets that she is the older sibling and the one who should be in charge, she often shows her dominance by tackling him to the ground while putting his arms behind his back, showing him whose boss of who.
Sister Aisling - Messing with Aisling will get you a great chance at a beat down by Kalari. She loves her little sister more than anything. She enjoys how sweet she is and how much she loves their fathers, but what she loves most about her lil’sis is her naïve and rebelliousness. Knowing that Aisling likes to sneak out of the house to go hang with demon hunters, Kalari will often help her get out uncaught so she can tag along. Her favorite thing to do with her sis is to get in trouble, she likes to explore things she knows she shouldn’t with her sis, mainly if it involves just lingering around Aisling’s friends for too long. If she had to choose between which sibling she loved more, she’d obviously pick Aisling, or who she calls her “Koala”. She calls her this because when it is really late or when Aisling just feels like it, Kalari will let her cling to her like a little Koala to a tree.
-----------
Mimbzy - The two could be referred to as an odd pairing since Kalari is so rough and dangerous while Mimbzy is so kind and slow to anger, even so, Kalari could have never asked for any better best mate. She enjoys how talkative he is and how much he seems to enjoy hanging out with her, mainly outdoors as they run around the desert kicking up dirt. His calm demeanor and general happy attitude really draws the young girl towards him, she likes that he seems to be so open to the dangerous things she does. Kalari enjoys going over to the ship where he stays so the two of them can swim at the dock and pretend to be the most dangerous and rough pirates to have even sailed the sea, even though the ship is often tied at the dock.
Himalaya - "Exploration" is the first thing that comes to mind when Kalari hears her name. She loves her like a sister and just adores her in general. When in need of an adventure buddy, Hima is often to first one to pick. In all honesty, she likes to view her as her favorite female friend, counting her as a best mate just besides Mimbzy. She likes to go outdoors and explore everything possible with her, she really appreciates Hima's mapping skills as well, it really helps so they don't get lost. Her favorite thing to do with her has to be roaming around for hours on end and then returning home covered in dirt from head to toe. When they are out and about, Kalari is always sure to pack a lunch so Hima won't forget to eat if she didn't pack her own.
Cora - The only feminine adult in Kalari's life, this being said she finds her timid and gentle nature to be a bit odd. But being Mimbzy's mother, Kalari doesn't really mind. She tends to get a bit annoyed with her overprotectiveness around them and that she often won't let them do anything far to dangerous without her being there to watch them. Even with all the older beans warnings, she often goes against what she says and drags Mimbzy out with her.
Tape - First meeting this odd man Kalari instantly knew he was the captain of the ship. She honestly prefers his childish behavior over Cora's mature and shy nature any day. She likes to see the treasures he's found out at sea. Since he is a pirate she expected him to be gruff, rough and sailing every day, but seeing that he wasn't she was a bit disappointed at first. But when he took her on a ship ride she instantly grew a connection to him. If he and Cora were both around, he'd be the first to ask to do something since he seems more lenient. She sees him as a Mohatu away from home and likes to have him around.
Yoichi - Just hearing her name makes Kalari’s throat tense up with a strong, hateful anger. She never thought she’d ever hate anyone with such a passion before in her life. She hates how much of a smart-butt she is, and in all honesty, she wishes she’d just shut her mouth and stop talking all together. If and when she is given any tea by this “rude fuzzbutt”, she’ll spit in it and switch it with Yoichi’s and hopes she doesn’t notice. She tries to keep her hatred towards her concealed but it's obvious she hates her by the way she bites her lip and clenches her fists every time she’s around. What pisses her off most is how lazy she is and that she wouldn’t even lift a finger to do a simple favor for someone. This laziness is unacceptable in Kalari’s eyes. Yoichi to her is the equivalent of a wad of distasteful gum stuck beneath the seat on an old greyhound bus.
