Most eggs are oval shaped. I'm sure a mythological griffin egg would be oval too. Just because its a similar egg structure does NOT mean its a raptor. Or are you going to say my chicken eggs in my fridge are mini raptors because they have the same oval shape?

Anyways my favourite pup so far has to be one of these:

This is a chicken egg but a ovirarapter egg is more oblong compair to the ovirarapter egg image if you want.
Raptors and chickens are very very distantly related though that's why they may look slightly similar.

Also to add on to WHY its a griffin and NOT a dino. The tail goes thin all the way down to the egg like a cat (lion anyone?). A dinosaurs tail is tapered...with the amount showing we would see evidence of the classical tapering. We do NOT see tapering..there for griffin!


Also who knows what the egg looked like? The griffin is uncurled. Meaning that the egg shell bits may have shifted from their original positions. The egg shell was curved but we do not know for sure it was even oval let alone 'oblong'. For all we know it could have been perfectly round!

Also, I'm now thinking this pup might be Bernouli's, due to the GIF hint and what she said about us "doing to the dog that's really mine." A lot of people assumed it was the orb dog (It could still be, I mean its trolltember, and Bern hasn't yet confirmed or denied that pup, yeah?) Buuut all the people saying it might be the tailess orange dog were few and number, and most people didn't believe in/listen to them...hence the kicking it away gift. It was dismissed as a possibility before it even got a chance xD.

Or maybe I'm reading too much into the gift hint.
