Roll says... 1: Don't trust twolegs. (real shocker, i know)
"I don't trust twolegs," you say. "They're dangerous, and they can hurt you."
Charlie tilts her head and smiles patiently. "Kid, 'twolegs' saved your life. You'd be dead right now if one hadn't picked you up and brought you to the vet."
"Y-you don't know that." But this shakes you a little. You search in your mind for a counterargument. "But one nearly killed me with their monster!"
"I'll bet that was the one who brought you in." Charlie flicks her tail dismissively.
"But they also could have left me for someone else to find." The heavy, two-legged footsteps are making you shake.
Charlie picks up on this. She walks up until she's towering over you. You bristle automatically.
"Asterpaw," she says. There's that motherly tone again. "You've trusted me enough to follow me here. I promise you, this human is a good one. She'll leave you alone if you make it clear you don't want her touching you. And you need a clean place to sleep so you don't get infected. There'll even be food in the morning."
You look up at her. She's being honest with you. At least, you think so.
There's a click and a creak.
No, you think, stepping back further. You know humans. They're loud, and big, and careless. They kill cats without even noticing. They tread all over your territory and chase you around, especially the little ones. And if the little ones can make a warrior run away in terror, a big one can do much worse.
Go in with her.
Stay outside.

As scared as Asterpaw may be, he has begun to trust this "Char-lee" character and she seems to have good intentions. And she's right - he needs to be in a safe, clean place if he wants to heal. "Fine. I'll go in with you. This better not be a trap." He reluctantly follows the she-cat inside, remaining alert while doing so.

After a long moment I hesitantly nod and trod inside warily behind Charlie. It might be dangerous to stay outside at night in an unfamiliar place without her, after all.
