I'm slightly relieved, yet scared at the tom's departure. I'm now left alone in the dark den with my thoughts. I give in to the drowsiness tugging at my eyelids, as the beautiful black Molly floods back into my thoughts. Her emerald green gaze is burned into my mind, my thoughts clouded with Flarepaws voice. We can't see each other again... A stab of pain strikes my heart as I recall the oriental shorthair's words. I told the she-cat how I fell and she hadn't wanted to see me again. I finally drift into sleep. I open my yellow-green gaze to a lush forest. A farmiliar scent floods my nose, and I turn my head to look to my side. Flarepaw. I gaze at the molly. "I've missed you." Flarepaw smiles before she fades away. "No....no wait! Don't leave me!" The beautiful she-cat morphs into her father. The Tom I'd seen with her earlier. He glares at me. "Leave my daughter alone. She's loyal to her clan." I watch as the Tom fades just as Flarepaw did, and I suddenly find myself alone. I jerk my eyes open, finding myself the dark den once again. The den is still dark from the faint moonlight, and snow has yet to return. I lay my tabby head on my paws, my heart still tight with pain.

Softberry had just caught sight of Batpaw slipping into her den and the metallic tang of blood was hanging in the air. The medicine cat increased her pace and padded in after the blind apprentice, so that he would have to stop. "I had guessed that something happened - now explain the story to me." The usual soft tone was absent from the molly's voice, mostly because she was harsh on herself - she'd almost missed treating Batpaw because she was talking with a rogue. Lovino. The thick-furred tabby put that out of her mind, for now, and went to the back of her den to fetch herbs and then came back out. She could see Hawkcry's fur in between the apprentice's claws and could scent him in the air, so he would be coming in soon enough. Obviously she didn't know of the punishment that would be handed to her - though most warriors knew not to disobey a medicine cat. Though Hawkcry was always a rebel, Softberry was sure she could keep the tom in check. He could have a sharp tongue and cold claws but the medicine cat could be harsher than hell if she was pushed.

{Signature, Mace?
Also, yes, fade to black soon.. They are honestly so cute, even if their relationship is somewhat sudden! x3}Oliverstorm wrote:Softberry
