If you also look at it, its quadropedial (<- spelled wrong sorry) and if you look near the head, theres a line there that gives it the look as if it has ears.

It might not be quadropedal, though



The claw sticking out is pretty small and raised high
If it's a raptor, it could still be bipedal

I feel like this gif accurately portrays what you guys have done to the puppy that's actually mine. Oh yeah that's a hint by the way!

It's Sabu's time to investigate Fiery Gatoh.

Now right now I don't have any specific pup that I think is theirs..
but I did some digging and I noticed a few things that I want to offer to you guys



The first staff dog.
Ears pinned, curled tail that stays curled in adult form.


The second staff dog.
Ears pinned, straight tail that eventually becomes three tails in the adult form.



The third staff dog.
Ears flopped, straight tail that stays as one tail when it becomes an adult.


The fourth staff dog.
Ears flopped, straight tail that eventually becomes three tails in adult form.


The fifth staff dog.
Also has flopped ears, a straight tail that also becomes tree tails in adult form.


The sixth staff dog.
Suddenly we're back to pinned ears, and a straight tail.. that becomes three tails in adult form.

Looking at all these details, we can say one thing for sure.
Firey tends to stay pretty basic for the pup stage, and incorporates all the colors in the adult stage.


Looking at these pups,



The trend is consistent with the basic colors..
but I did notice.
In my investigations, Firey makes slim to none lineart changes..
and if she does change the lineart, the only thing she does is change the ears and the tails.

Therefore the pup we are looking for,
has no line edits, and if they do.. they are only with the tail and ears..
and has pretty basic colors for the fur.

That means her pup has to be one of these:




Although the last two aren't exactly basic in their color schemes.. they fit the no edits idea I have going ... that's why I have included them.

I'm also a little reserved on this one because as I looked at every pet she has ever made..
Firey has NEVER done ears like this.. on any of her pup stages.


Anyways, like I said, that's all I have so far ^^

I think it's unlikely that the egg pup is a phoenix though because it looks like it has a claw sticking out from the front limb, not a wing

A gryphon, hippogriff, or raptor seems most likely for that pet

True. Just the front "legs" seem to high muscled and perfectly bent to be tiny raptor hands. Thought if it is a raptor, definite hoard, without a doubt.

Because another trend that Firey has, is she keeps shading on all of her pup forms.
if you look at this pup, it doesnt have any shading.

That is the shading, just shaped like the lighter palette colour.
Compare chest/neck colour to belly. The belly is slightly darker, because the shading is there.

On the neck area you can actually see some parts of shading too.
