oh yeah. now i remember seeing something about it. hmm... what does it have to do with the entire puzzle though?

The day of Reckoning draws near! Thomas swears to the End of his Days that Aaron will defeat the Leviathan during his quest after he has accepted his destiny to save those Forsaken beings who have Fallen into despair at the coming Armageddon -- an Aerie prophecy indeed.

Congratulations, you've found my final hint! Now there is just one little thing left to do before all is revealed. Every post I have made on this thread has contained at least one hint or relevant connection to my dog. Most are straightforward facts (ex. "My dog uses a fair amount of blue,") but others have been more subtle and gone undetected or only partially understood.

These are the main posts I want you to revisit:

All of these posts and that newest hint have a common theme / relation to the primary aspect of my dog. Start with the most obviously connected posts and then see how the others may fit in.

Once someone finds that theme and shows how each post relates to it, explains the rest of my clues (those shouldn't be too hard,) and matches everything to the correct dog, I will claim mine and finally stop torturing everyone. ^^

Oh, and just so you know, my pup may not be easily identified until after it grows up.


And as a reward for all your hard work, I will confirm that the butterfly pup is ... not mine.

To compare this dog to some of Schuyler's other hints

Crickets sing
if the water dog is meant to be a siren (which would relate to mythology and Harry Potter themes a lot), then it would relate to a cricket in that way.

The only Harry Potter book that involved merpeople had a golden egg that opened in a similarly tricky way to the snitch, so that could draw another comparison.

She's said "behind" a couple of times and this dog certainly has an interesting behind.
Schuyler also linked a gif of Castiel, and I don't know much of anything about Supernatural but I found this on Castiel's wiki page

"In "Meet the New Boss", Castiel begins exacting his new supremacy over the planet, working miracles and punishing religious hypocrites alike. However, when Castiel's vessel begins to become damaged and he begins to lose control of his power, Death reveals that he also absorbed creatures known as Leviathans from Purgatory. The Leviathans will destroy him if they are not released. Castiel seeks out the Winchesters' help, and reopens the portal with Death's assistance. Although the souls are returned, the Leviathans evade reentering Purgatory and take control of Castiel's vessel. In "Hello, Cruel World", the vessel begins to quickly break down. We've got a dog that has a name like a ship, and we're getting a lot of references to sea monsters and boats.
