Oekaki/Java problems & solutions

Try switching to Chibipaint V.2; that should fix the problem. You can do so here.

Kay so Java is dead... RIP. I went and downloaded Firefox... redownloaded Java... And now I can get Oekaki to work, HOWEVER my Jtablet is now not working... It said something about it being blocked by Java now? I think? QoQ Anyone know what to do? I redownloaded Jtablet, it won't even let me open the trial thingy on their site to see if its working...

Same problem D: Will I lose the drawing? Ive spent HOURS on it, and it would break my heart to lose it

@Miyumura and ~Red Ribbon~,

I've never had that specific problem, so unfortunately I'm not sure whether or not you will lose the drawing. But if you're concerned, you could probably take a screenshot of your drawing and post it on the Art Galleries forum.

Thank you so much for the help, I screenshotted the drawing and updated chibi, hope it'll be ok after I spend another 4 hours on a drawing and try to save

i had the same problem!
open your java control panel - it should come with java itself. just search for it in your windiws menu. it may appear as configure java.
go to exceptions, and add these sites to the list:
http://jtablet.cellosoft.com/test.html
http://www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/ painting.php?f=30&mode=post
(remove the space)
i dont know if the jtablet one actually does anything but after i added these to the exceptions it started working for me. ^_^

thank you, Dr, Draca,

for all the info. on java,and help with it.I apologize for getting so upset when i could not make Java work.My computer repair-man fixed the "exceptions" correctly, and ~HeavenWings~ gave me the suggestion to put site on "V2.0", and the java finally worked again!! Thanks to all the members here, who gave me help and suggestions , I really appreciate them all. ALL of you, on the site, too. I sometimes get panicky around software (having rid myself of long-term Chrome, going to Firefox, and trying other browsers too. Big differences. :shock:
