Chapter 1.
Confinement.
Confinement.
"For as long as I can remember, I've been a pet to these wolves. A fish in their tank, only allowed to eat when they feed me."

I swam around underwater staring at the wolves that observed me.. All his life this was all he'd known...I saw some people doing a routine clean up. Yes, that meant it was almost time for lunch. But it also meant something else right before lunch. I was quick to swim to the surface of my tank so I could see the Pteranodon. Oh he had no idea how lucky he was. The park didn't treat him like a pet. He was never trapped in a bowl. He could fly around freely for as long as he wished. I breathed a deep sigh and saw as they held up my food..ugh, why did they hold it so high.....they wanted me to do another flip? I sighed and swam down before leaping up and closing my jaws around the small shark they had held for me to eat.The crowd cheered though some people screamed. When would this horror story end? Maybe one day I could get the Pteranodon's attention. I sighed and swam back into the depths. Really the most fun I had was scaring away the wolves by opening my jaws and attacking the glass. They didn't know I wouldn't hurt any of them, but it was funny to hit the glass and watch them scream and run. The only entertainment I ever got aside from watching the other creatures in their freedom. I'd been in the tank since I was a baby...But, I was so tired of feeling trapped. Every day was the same. I'd swim, I'd eat, I'd watch the Pteradon fly, then I'd scare some more people before sleeping again. I loathed getting one meal a day, but that was the way it worked. The keepers starved me to entertain their guests.
