My laptop battery is on 6%, so I'll just comment on a few pets.

Image
To be 100% honest, I don't expect normal, gray Rat adults. Moonflight loves rainbows way too much to just leave these gray and green.

Image
Supernovas, anybody? When I first saw these, I thought of a sunset, then noticed the brighter ribbon-like yellow on it and thought of a supernova Butterfly Wolf.

Image
I can't wait to see what comes out of here. Honestly, black and white is such a broad colour scheme that it could be anything.

Image
The first thing that came to my mind was "Hippie" ponies. xD

I'm actually thinking 'Chinese Dragon' for them. xD Anything that is red(ish) with gold detailing makes me think of China and the pattern reminds me of the ceremonial dragons that are paraded.

Which do I like better? Lasy year's or this year's? They're both so cute. <3

Oh please be morbid little stitched-up zombie/Frankenstein's monster horses.
EDIT: asdkfsakjfnasj is that a skull on the blue one's back leg

Also, pleh, missed two third-gens. Has a name been decided for them yet?

Ohhhh. The neatest thing about this 3rd gen litter is that one of the parents was a New Year's litter too. ^^

Whew. Hopefully I can keep up with daily reviews of pets and outcomes this time around. Life hit me like a sack of bricks coated in cement at the end of December. Anyhow...
ImageImage

These are darling. While I didn't get the GUPPS, it's fine (I don't normally collect year or birthday marked pets). I'm going to still keep one of my 2011 pups because the striping is so thoughtfully done, and I love the shading and colors.

ImageImageImageImageImage

I like this second gen litter already. This was a great suggestion, and I'm sure DL can pull it off grandly, just from seeing the blankets. I'm also super-enthused about the green one, but I'm also looking forward to the purple-blue one with the green paws and the spotted blankets. I've always liked the coloration of their parents, so this should be a great litter.

Image

I am very much enthused about this litter, because I can see the tiny hints of detail and lovely shading. To be honest, their coats remind me a little of stars or sparkles with the flecking. Actually, now I want to call them Champagne rats.

Image

This pillar looks so... outstanding. It makes me think of fireworks, sunsets or rises, and just has such lovely bold colors. That yellow detail is very fine and I think will turn out fantastic when they grow.

Image

Everyone's noticing the black and white stripes, but no one's said anything about the pink underbelly? I'm thinking a slightly feminine white-tiger look.

ImageImageImage

I giggled when I saw these foals, mainly because I named my group for Yulynh's ponies the "Fingerpaint Herd" and it made me think of fingerpainting when I saw them. They're so cheerful and carefree, and after seeing not only her mastery of natural coloration, but the amazing detail on those Advent ponies, I'm stoked. My favorite: the blue, because of the white swirl on the forehead and those little dappling spots on his rear!

ImageImageImageImageImage

This litter surprised me. After all the Christmas cheer, and the happy ponies, seeing what look like they could only be Franken-horses bowled me over - in a good way. I love all of them, and am disappointed I missed the blue skull-and-bones pony. I only hope I can trade for him later!

Image

It was easy to see this was Blu's litter, with the fine use of coloration and the hint of very detailed work with the grapes. It's a shame the UR grapes weren't an item, eh? I anticipate these being favorites, and INSIST on naming one of them Dionysus.

Image

This litter confuses me. Not in a bad way, but one of those "curious" ways. At first seeing the blanket and the white mane and spots, I thought Hyena. Then I started thinking more picnic/food. Now I'm pondering it's an ice cream Sundae litter. Heck, the blanket even looks a little music like.

Image

I am always super-enthused about natural colors and this litter is no exception. While I don't expect it to be tiger-like (though I won't complain if it is!) I think the striping will look lovely no matter how it comes out.

Honestly, this is a fantastic new year start, and I cannot wait for things to start growing up.
