The more I look at this little dude, the more I think she could be a dragon, a gryphon, a phoenix-- or maybe even a raptor

The tail doesn't look very raptorish since it's thin, but it's possible that there might be more tail hidden on the inside of the egg.
The face looks like it has a beak/beak-like area that's far back on the face, and the shape of the body seems reminiscent of a raptor. The little claw sticking out could belong to a number of beasts, but the size of it also makes me think raptor

Tbh, I think it's a hippogriff. Claws, beak, lion tail... it adds up if you ask me! Plus the feathers under the egg :0

I love it omg. Idk if it's a phoenix or a gryphon or a dragon, but I'm sure the end result will look stunning.

My pups grow late so fingers crossed that I have it!

I haven't been paying attention to hints, my assumption is just based on the style and detail of the edits
