That's right, Arcaii is going to punish everyone once again with another CYOA! And don't worry, this one will be seen through. I've already got it planned out and ready to be written.

If you want to join in, you must be able to post regularly and read the story. You are not required to comment here (except to say that you'd like to join), but you must be able to keep in touch with me. If you vanish without explanation for two weeks, your spot will automatically be forfeited to the next person. I cannot guarantee that you will get it back.

There are 10 spaces open. A few spots have already been claimed over PM, but I'd like to ask those people to comment here announcing that they'll be participating. Thank you!

A few things to keep in mind!
1) This story will be a little more difficult than the first CYOA. That means that some critical thinking will be required on the part of the players. Your mistakes or careless choices can and will result in death. This does not exclude our main character.
2) The story has already been planned out, but your choices will vastly affect how exactly everything goes down, even more so than the first CYOA. The general ending will be similar no matter the choices made (except for ones that kill our main character), but how exactly the ending goes down, and what happens before that, will all be on you.
3) Updates will be as quick as possible. As soon as 7 choices have been made, a post will be up for the next response. Be careful to watch the thread in case you miss out.
4) Though this is a Warriors CYOA, there will not be as much emphasis on Clans and the regular warrior business. You'll see what I mean.

Okay, want to discuss strategy while waiting, such as stats we should focus on, things like that?

Yes, I probably should give you guys some more information on that, shouldn't I?

I'll tell you the basic premise of the story: you are an apprentice who has been swept far away from home, and you must return by any means necessary (and preferably quickly, as you are only two moons away from becoming a warrior). However, one of the main conflicts of the game is the balance of honoring your warrior traditions and adapting to the life of a street cat as you make your way back to your territory. While there's more emphasis on adapting and surviving, you must be able to recall your warrior ways, because that will guide your morality (kindness, mercy, justice, that sort of thing) and eventually choose how the story ends (and trust me, there are bad endings, and there are very bad endings. You don't want either).

This is what I meant by less emphasis on Clan life - you're not in a Clan at all. You're the only Clan cat in a world of loners and rogues, and you need to get home before you lose your old ways and forget your family and friends. If you manage to balance out your willpower with the rest of your stats, you can actually benefit the cats around you. Keep your willpower too high, however - refuse to adapt or bend the rules, act like a warrior in a place where it's every cat for themselves - and you will be punished.
