"oh,urm, hi rose..." he was a little uncomfortable speaking with his crush. he said "yeah, im fine. i was just going to the woods to get some wild onions. do you wanna come?"

Rose nodded and smiled. "I'd love to." she said and took a couple of steps away from the water.

"Follow me" he said with a smile. He trotted off, towards the forest. When they got there, he showed her which ones were wild onions. He pulled one up, and ate the onion part. It was sweet, unlike other onions, and it didn't make your breath smell.

Rose quickly learned which ones were wild onions, and tried to pull one out of the ground herself.
She ate it, and it was just as delicious as ever. Rose looked over at Bentley.
He was much bigger than her, and his black coat looked like it had been polished in the sun, just like hers. "Thanks for bringing me with you," she said and trotted closer to him.

"It's ok" he said, looking at her. She wasn't as tall as his 20 hands, but her eyes were gorgeous. They sparkled like diamonds, and her hair was brushed to perfection. " you're the first person i brought here, nobody else knows about this grove."

Rose smiled with gratefulness. "I'm the only one?" she said, digging with her front hoof in the dirt. That was very nice of him, showing her the grove.

"The only one.I just thought you might want to know about this place." He said, stepping towards her. He had a crush on her. A big time crush on her.

Rose smiled. "Well, maybe we could come here again another time?" she said, and Bentley stepped closer.

"Yeah." He said. "And, just so you know, you are the prettiest mare I have ever seen..." He started trotting away, towards the mountains. He would find out what she thought soon.
