Welcome to the Official Phaethon's Tekes Fanclub! You do not have to own a teke to join in on the fun and there is no need to fill out a form. Just start posting!

In Greek mythology, Phaethon was a son of Helios. One day, he insisted that his father let him drive
his chariot, but was unable to control it. To save the Earth, he was struck by one of Zues’
lightning bolts and fell, allowing the horses pulling the chariot to get home.

Phaethon’s Tekes were discovered by a group of people on a search for Phaethon’s landing point.
When they believed that they had discovered the crater, thinly built horses began to gather. Upon first
glance, they seemed no different than akhal tekes. However, a handful of explorers felt that they had
discovered something different. Because of their location and the motive of their search, the explorers
dubbed them Phaethon’s Tekes. While part of the group left to report their findings, the rest stayed back to
construct a ranch, unable to leave the magnificent creatures.

Feel free to discuss anything teke related here. Ask questions, participate in conversations, throw out ideas... it's basically a free for all! I just want people to have fun in a welcoming, enjoyable community.
I have nothing against members of the community selling art teke art, posting links to teke-related streams, planning a story, or starting role plays. I would prefer that I am at least notified before you take large teke-related projects(novels, roleplays, etc) off of chickensmoothie. Remember, always give me credit for the species and the artist credit for the design.

With the new team and all the changes, I just figured now was a good time to introduce a new fanclub. Tekes are getting their facelift. ^^

What are hoping to see from the artists now that a full team has been hired?
That you are all active and lovely and wonderful...
and that you never use the term 'taffy' to describe a teke...
and that you bow down to me
but mostly that you are wonderful and enjoy your time on the teke team

Thanks for answering so quickly you guys, and just a little FYI. I am open for 3 breeding slots, they are FCFS. So if you'd like a breeding, send away! I am only open for 3 right now because school starts in the next couple of days and this week is a little stressful for me, so I may not get them completed today or this week!
