What is a Scruff Dragon?
-----Scruffs are feline-like dragons with hard scales on their faces, arms, legs, and tails that act as partial armor to protect them from predators. Their sizes vary from time to time and can even grow to be as large as a full grown golden retriever. The fire they breath is so surprisingly cold that it can cause frostbite if no protection is worn, and smells of fresh sweet mint. They live near icy mountains and cold underwater caves, only coming towards civilization in the winter in search of food, scavenging what they can and even going as far as stealing.

♥What happens when they're sick?
When a Scruff is sick their scales
will fade and wear down, and on extremely rare
occasions their flame will die out.
Without a flame the Scruff can become
lethargic and irritated easily.

♥Each person can have unlimited Scruffs
♥Do not claim ownership of someone else's Scruff

-Co-owning is also not allowed!

♥Respect other users
♥Do not spam
♥Do not change the main lines
♥Eggs cannot be hatched until after 1-2 month(s)
♥Make as many edits and accessories as you want
so long as it's recognizable as the species.
♥Custom lines are allowed.
♥There is no nursery, you must create your own eggs
and hatch them yourself.
♥YOU MAY GIFT, ADOPT, TRADE, OR SELL WITH PETS
OR C$ ONLY. NO OUTSIDE CURRENCY.

Nursery notes:
♥Scruffs only give birth to 2 eggs a litter
♥Must be mates for 2 weeks before mating
♥Scruffs cannot mate for 1 week after laying eggs

Additional species info:
♥Their fire is usually orange, green, or blue
♥They are vegetarian, their diet includes:

-Any fruits or veggies
-Herbs (mostly mint, it gives their fire its smell
and keeps their teeth clean)
-Gemstones (much like any cliché dragon)

♥They are valued by humans as companions
because of their cuddly and docile nature
♥They can shed their scales which can be used
as many types of weapons and tools
♥Their chest fur is unusually soft and can be cut
and sheared to be used as fabric and more
♥A Scruff's fluff can grow back 2-4 weeks after being cut
♥Taming a Scruff can include:

-Breeding (newborns in captivity are
automatically domesticated)
-Rescue (orphaned, dangered, injured, ill)
-Trust at first glance (they come up to you)
-Captured (brought from the wild)

♥They don't have wings but they can run
up to 80 MPH which is 5 MPH faster
than a cheetah!
