Perhaps. I'm not going to say which pup is mine until all the pups have grown. My favorite part is always being guessed for different pups, and I don't want to spoil that!

Hmm..
I'm gonna try to describe the one I obviously think is Plumas. For the following reasons:
Pluma probably made this pup,

Since, she said in the hints it would mention something from one of her previous staff pets, I'm pretty sure.
That leads me to this pet by Pluma.

The tail, the butterfly tail.
This was a 2012 Staff Pet, They look quite similar if you think about it a couple times.
They have the same shape spot around their eye, as well as they both have feet markings. And stripes/dots on their tail.

Idk but the first line I but through an anagram thing and it said something about cat knights so if it's the medical cats I'm think the sword cat is what we're looking for. Unless their is a cat dressed like an apprentice or knight though the apprenticeship may have been a reference to the TV show, the aprrientce. Or a WC aprrentices number if we look it up may be a clue.

Nope just read the other posts (so many that I submitted before reading) Magic Apprentice, that's what we need to find
