Milo nodded and put the rabbits in the pile before smiling to himself and trotting off to the hunters' den.He lay down and stretched.He sighed softly and let his muscles relax.{open}

Dust entered the camp,a pang of guilt still lingering in her stomach.She made a bee line for the medicine den and stopped right outside the entrance.She took a few deep breaths before finally speaking,"Moon?Are you okay?".

"Moon, Lewis, I have told you to enter." She reminded them, flicking her ears.

Buck
Buck sat at the center of the pack camp, yawning as he watched Milo go put the rabbits.He gestured him over.

Milo glanced over at Buck,noticing his gestures.He felt a little bit confused as to why the alpha needed to speak to him after praising him but he trotted over anyway.He sat down near him and dipped his head before looking at him."What is wrong,alpha?"he asked.

Dust noticed that Moon wasn't in the medical den and felt the skin under her fur grow warm.She apologized and trotted away towards the exit of camp.Maybe I should do a territory patrol?The deer might have attracted some predators... she thought as she looked into the forest that surrounded their camp.

Moon walked into camp. She could feel her head throb and her side stung. she walked into camp and began to walk over to healer's den. she looked back and looked at lewis she smiled at him and nodded then walked over to the den.

Buck
Buck began, sounding quiet."Milo, for long I have not had a Beta to work with me. I'm thinking of selecting a Beta at the moment. But my senses tell me you are the one who is fit." Lifting his chin, he added."This is a decision you and I are making. Once you have decided, you will notify me." Reminding him, he said slowly."I am not forcing you to take on this responsibility, Milo."


Maria
Maria nodded to Moon, letting her lye down. Inspecting her slowly, she told her gently."You're head has a scar on it, near your ears. And you're side has a little wound, but nothing too severe." She informed her, picking out a leaf. As she chewed it and then put the juice onto her side, she asked her."Did Buck come and help?"

Milo's eyes widened as he looked at Buck.Me,Beta!?! he thought in disbelief."I would be honoured,alpha"he said as calmly as he could and dipped his head.What made him pick me?I know he said his senses but...wouldn't other things factor in? he asked himself but quickly pushed the thought away

Buck nodded, closing his eyes and then speaking."Then, it is settled. Give me one day to think about it, then announce to the pack." He nudged him gently."Go grab something to eat, but first, take one of those rabbits for Maria, Hope, and Moon. Lewis and Dust will grab for themselves. You and I will share the other rabbit." It had been long since he had invited wolves to share prey with him.

Milo nodded and stood up.He trotted out of Buck's den and could barely contain himself.He couldn't help but wag his tail as he grew closer to the pile of prey.After picking up the largest rabbit he had caught,he made his way to the medicine den.He slipped through the entrance and placed the rabbit at his paws."Hey!I bought food for you ladies!"he exclaimed and turned to leave the den.

Dust slowly trotted out of camp and deeper into the forest.After trotting through their territory,she headed straight for the lake to relax a little bit.As she neared the lake,she stayed alert,knowing that the humans liked to hunt for fish and swim there.Today,she was lucky.The whole lake had practically been empty,aside from some deer and other animals.
