Zeph looked towards the balcony outside his room that faced the chandelier. Runes were still visible, bleeding through the door.
He couldn't tell Ferondir about the runes just yet- he couldn't risk him telling Jakub.
Zeph pulled down his cloak sleeve, covering the runes over his hands.
They probably weren't visible to Ferondir, but Zeph new just what to look for.
Y-yeah. I've been worried about us all too. Who knows what that She-beast inside Jakub has in store for us.
Zeph looked around, making sure no one could hear them.
He pressed a finger on the "Silence" rune on his arm- just for safe measure. Though he wasn't even sure if it worked.
To be honest... I actually feel pretty... good! It's like... It's like while my magic is nulled, I'm on a temporary vacation.
Seriously though. It feels... good. Relaxing, even.
Though I have to say, its annoying to not be able to use magic to put on my cloak. Zeph said, chuckling slightly.
He stepped slightly closer, his voice in a whisper now.
But don't worry. I have a plan... And if you could read up on minor curse removal, that'd be great. Zeph said, devilishly smirking at Ferondir for a moment- Then he returned to a slight smile.
So- whats going on with everyone else?

"Well, I can tell Della is still looking for her place among us." Ferondir said. "She and the Zoras seem to get along fine."
"Jakub is still distraught about his boat, but he'll get over it." Ferondir shook his head and laughed humorlessly. "Why did you even do that?"

Really? Hm. Zeph shrugged.
I would of thought she'd be looking for a way home by now.
Zeph put his hand to the back of his neck.
Heh. Well. I thought someone that old would know to- you know- NOT do exactly what I said would harm his ship.
Maybe he should get a better crew? I mean. I DID warn them.
But hey, the ship can be repaired. "And it gave me a great idea on how to fix this." Zeph wanted to say.
Plus, should anyone really trust me with a ship, and one of these. I mean I did JUST learn the magic. He said, gesturing towards his stele- which sparked with a magic energy distortion,leaving a light blue trail in the air.
Zeph put the stele back in his cloaks inner pocket.

Ferondir shook his head. "No one did trust you with his ship. You took it upon yourself to do something."
"I can't blame you." Ferondir grinned. "That's one of your best qualities, but, next time... Please don't cast a spell on someone's things without their permission, if you can help it."
"I'll fix it, since... your magic ain't working, then I'll get to that antidote for you, so to speak."
At that point, he leaned on his staff, and a very serious expression crossed his face.
"What is going on in your room?" Ferondir looked at Zeph calmly. He stood back, a little, to make Zeph feel free to lie, escape, or change the subject. He almost didn't want to know what had happened in there. Something worse than Gregal was in there. The only way he could help, however, was if he knew what was happening.
He hoped that his friend would choose to share it.

Day 4 (Evening)/Guzore the Goron/20/Where: Gregal's Mansion/With: Zephyrus, Ferondir

Guzore barged into the main foyer of the mansion where Zephyrus and Ferondir were.
Hey guys, you want some marshmallows? You better get some before Drimaethor eats 'em all! Haha!

Well, thats my cue. Zeph said, smirking.
Laters. Zeph said, turning on his heel and walking towards the doors.
Tell Ferondir?
Nah.
He's my best friend, but I cant risk it just yet.
Better safe than sorry.

Did I really just say that?
WOOOW ME. Gods. I'm boring without my magic.
Oh well. Zeph thought.

To emphasize Guzores point Drimaethor put three more marshmallows on the stick.

"Better just take this bag away from me Della" he said tossing it in Dellas direction. These marshmallows were so good he had to stop eating them before he got addicted.

Sapphire pulled the marshmallows out of the fire. They were black, charcoal-like, and verry unappetizing. She faked a half smile, and leaned over to Della."So you just... eat them?"

Jack watched the others eat marshmallows for a while, but he wasn't really interested in eating something so sticky. He only ever had sticky fingers in the metaphorical sense. Nothing especially interesting was happening, so he just kind of laid down on the edge of the log. Jack turned away from the fire to maintain his night vision.
A tall figure walked out of the trees brandishing a sword. The sword was glowing silver, and distorted the trees behind it. As the figure kept on walking, Jack tried to turn his head but couldn't. Jack heard the conversation stop behind him, and then a high-pitched laugh rung out like a bell. He heard something rip, and the faint whistle of a sword being swung through air.
Jack opened his eyes with a start and flung a dagger at the grass in front of him. He tried to calm his breathing as he realized it was just a dream. Jack looked behind himself just to be reassured that nothing sinister was around. He was safe. He was surrounded by allies, if perhaps not all of them were friends. Or capable in combat. And sadly none of them could fight nightmares.

Drimaethor chuckled when Sapphire held the black marshmallow. He pulled off a light brown one off his stick and offered it to her.
"Here, this one is better. If its black like that it means its burnt. I'll eat that one for you" he said. He knew that Sapphire and Amethyst were new to human food so he felt like he should help them try new things. He cracked a smile at the thought of being the middle man for humans and zoras.
