While they can both be SPN references, Morningstar for Lucifer, and Poughkeepsie is Crowley's emergency word.

I think the more "correct" answer is definitely Poughkeepsie, as Morningstar seems like it's just a name. They have a Dragon named Lucifer, so?

I feel like if this where Schu's pup, Morningstar would be it's name because it looks a little like the pup'll become a sun rising over the ocean (dawn). In other words, morning star.
