Discord is known as the spirit of chaos, he has almost unlimited magic at his fingertips (Claws//talons??)
Discord also has the ability to give or remove a horn or wings from a pony.
So, do you think that Discord also has the ability to give a cutiemark?

Me too and oh yeah, totally forgot about the factory. Did the people (other than the 6. I'm forgetting who) find out though?
If they have, it must be a pretty bad crime that Rainbow Dash was framed for to be a bigger deal than the factory XD

Not sure and also Rainbow Dash is also always crashing into houses and stuff but still yeah....

Hmm... That's true. It wouldn't be a "True" cutie mark, but with the clear theme of cutie marks this season, I could see that playing a part into something.

Maybe, seeing as he sort of created Screwball who had a cutiemark when Discord made her.

But say if he tried to give a filly a cutiemark, it wouldn't work because the filly wouldn't have discovered their talent. This is the same as in the episode where Apple Bloom gets Twilight to magic her a cutiemark. It worked, but after a few seconds, it disappeared. I think the same thing would happen, even if Discord does have to magic to give or remove wings and horns.

I would also have to say, that even though he can remove wings and horns they still aren't a vital part of a Filly/Colts Journey. They need to figure out their cutie mark for themselves, as it is acquired with them figuring out their destiny. I agree with Orange Juice, it would last for a few seconds then it would disappear.

Yeah, I'm with Spock and Orange Juice. It would fade after a second or so. A few ponies don't have to figure out their destiny to get their cutie marks. (This is just my theory.) Twilight and Cadence achieved their destiny after they got their cutie marks.
