Winterfall shrugged. "Their father Smoky was a great tom. He was just like me - pampered and loved. It was really great, to be honest. My owners loved and adored me, but then I saw how my littermates were treated. Their owners abused them, and I really saw how normal kittypets were treated. I was the lucky one of my siblings. White was given to an animal shelter - that's what we called the place where homeless kittypets and dogs go. It's a horrible, horrible place. And Frost, she was taken away to another town. I saw her once - her fur was scruffy, she was covered in scratches and scars. It was just terrible to see her like that. Then some terrible people killed my owners and I was forced to abandon the only home I've ever known. I ran from my friends. I ran from my family. I ran from my love. I ran from my fame - Winter, the Diamond of Farwell, never to be seen again." Winterfall's voice cracked and faded away. She had never told anyone of her history before. When she had first arrived at the clan, she was so quiet and shy. She refused to speak of her past and where she came from. Silverstrike was the first cat she ever told. She looked down at her silver, diamond-studded necklace and sighed, eyes sad.

Smokekit tumbled over his own paws and bowled over his sister Frostkit. He immediately bounded away from her.

Frostkit squealed in surprise, then raced after Swiftkit once more. "I will get you!" She challenged.

Loststar gave up after they ignored her, she ran with Moonclaw alongside her. Loststar spotted Leaftail walking towards the forest. "Leaftail, will you please join us in a rescue patrol" Loststar asked.

Moonclaw
Moonclaw ran a bit behind Loststar till they reached Leaftail. "I think I heard Brambleshade yowling in pain by the twoleg border" Moonclaw added on.
