just wanted to let everyone know, that with Pan and Missy's unborn colt, when he reaches maturity at two, (same for revenge except the solid chestnut part) any mare he covers won't necessarily birth colour, going back down his blood lines his father is chestnut, therefore allowing a foal to be born a solid chestnut.. His mother is chestnut sabino like himself, which is why that's also a possibility and also likley, along with Missy's father pride who is also the same colour, however on Paiges side she is a light dapple grey, birthed to a white dapple grey and a black stallion who came from a bay mare. Therefore, any colour ranging from bay, black, chestnut and sabino would be likely birth colours. (dapple grey most unlikely unless the mare is dapple grey)

you probaly all know that, but some people often say 'well the sire is a chestnut sabino so the foal must be that colour' when actually they need to trace back where that colour came from, what side of the family, and then what's on the other side c: By that I mean that Misfit and Revenge are good examples to be traced back c:

A chestnut can birth a white foal if she has a white family member, she can birth a black foal a bay foal a sabino foal depending on her traces back, however most of the time if there is sabino/overo/paint in their blood normally there will be colour or at a minimal, stockings and big blazes c:
