Brindleleaf looked between the two cats for a few seconds. "Bring the kit to me, I'll check his eyes. You, Rose Bulert or whatever, show me your paw." The medicine cat grumbled to herself. What's a bulert? she mused.

Rose Bullet raised her paw reluctantly as Silent put her tail encouragingly around her shoulders.

Brindleaf winced visibly at the wound. "That looks bad. I think that's a thorn..." The medicine cat dug her teeth into the thorn. "Does that hurt?"

Rose Bullet yowled in pain and tried to swipe at her, but Silent wrapped her tail around her other front paw.

Silverwing nodded and hurried into the nursery. She picked Blackkit up by the scruff and hurried back to Brindleleaf.

Froststar saw the she-cat was in pain. "They may stay until her pads are better." She meowed and went to her den. She was getting frustrated, she needed to hold the deputy ceremony and everycat was so busy she couldn't hold it right away.

Ashpelt lifted his head. "We'll just have to go with no apprentice." He stood up and padded towards the entrance.

Bluepaw lowered her head and let her tail droop. "Mouse-dung! I'll kill Shadow one day! He took the fun away from me." She promised herself.

Greykit squealed as his mother took Blackkit away. "Blackkit!" He squealed.

Shadow climbed down the tree and ran into the badger den "shh!" He meowed to Snowshadow "there is clan cats out there and they want to kill me!" He explained.

Brindleleaf released her teeth. "Okay, so I didn't pull, but you still felt pain. Ooh... That's not good." The tabby gently poked at the thorn with a claw, not moving it. "Did you feel that?"
(She's testing to see if it's a bit of flesh or a thorn, cause of how deep it is)

Rose Bullet hissed in pain before mewing, "It's not as bad as it was when you were grabbing it."

Silent watched in hopes that she'd be fine.

"Hmm... Do you think it might be some damaged or twisted flesh? It's entirely possible."
