Study Tips!
Because I should be studying right now, I thought I would share with you some of my study tips!

1. Do not procrastinate like I am right now. Due to my procrastination I have to finish a whole big book in 5 days, take 10 more pictures of nature, write a 30 page thingy-ma-bobber, and much much more. So please, DON'T DO IT! IT'S BAD TRUST ME

That's what every guide or teacher will tell you - don't procrastinate.
I'm a procrastinator myself and I have been for a long time. I don't get the best marks (and I failed exams) so I don't recommend it do people who aim for that. I just want to address all the other procrastinators who just can't fix their habits (like me) and say: "It's not that bad, don't stress too much". I only learned for about three days for many of my exams and it worked most of the time (like I said not the best marks and some failures) and I know other people who do (who are even better than me). I once met someone in a chief position, who told me he actually prefers people that have experience with procrastination, because they are used to do a lot in a short time. He has to solve problems in three days and people who are used to prepare for weeks are just not good with doing things that quick. Procrastination also doesn't mean that you don't get anything done:
http://www.businessinsider.com/use-procrastination-to-get-things-done-2014-6?IR=T

I'm more worried about people that aim to get perfect marks. There are more and more people that get really really good marks, which sounds like a good thing, but I think it puts a lot of pressure on people. I know people that didn't do much besides studying in school - they got the best marks, but they just looked neither healthy nor happy.

So: If you can fix your procrastination habbits - good for you. If you can't - just make the best of it, you are not alone^^
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

TYPE OF QUESTION:math/astronomy/physics
YOUR QUESTION:Phobos orbits Mars with an average distance of about 9380 km from the center of the planet and a rotational period of about 7hr 39 min. Use this information to estimate the mass of Mars.

I know you have to use Kepler's third law, but meh the math doe. I was never too good at that
Sorry again, for the third question I've asked recently ha-ha!

Oh my, astronomy? I don't know anything about that.

I might be able to help with the math part if you explained Kepler's third law to me in as much detail as possible and showed me what you have so far. I tried Googling Kepler's third law myself but I didn't really know what I was looking at. cx

    Yeah, I am one of those who can't manage to fix it. I just wanted to put that in because I try to remind myself that I need to not do it so badly.
    I procrastinate like a professional, and I have done many many projects last minute, but I'm still a straight A student. I'm not saying procrastination won't get you anywhere, but it's just a lot more stressful all over. But other times not so much. I am mostly a cram-everything in in one night type of person, because my brain processes the information much better. I memorized a whole 3 paragraph poem in German overnight, and I still have parts of it memorized XD
    Right now I'm about to go study for a test tomorrow, which I haven't studied for at all. I have high doubts I'll fail, but I honestly think the stress makes me do better ? I get so worried that I'll get a bad grade, everything suddenly flows out of me.

I'm good at memorizing simple texts in a few hours, even dates if necessary, but I can only remember them for about a week.

As a reminder: I can help with german if a question every comes up, just don't ask me a math questions XD (I was quite good at the beginning, but I'm no good with difficult questions). Theoretically I can also help with history (a bit), art (maybe tips or something) and economics.

a = 9380 km = 9.38 x 106 m

P = 7 hr 39 min = 7.65 hr = 27540 sec

keplerexample
Since the mass of Mars is so much greater than the mass of Phobos, (M1 + M2) is very nearly equal to the mass of Mars, so this is a good estimate.
