Now that people have brought up Megan×Time, ship changed.

I still don't like Razor×Alyssa, though, nor Logan×Ally. Razor just seems like the kind of person who would flirt with anybody and everybody (rendering his apparent flirtiness with Alyssa meaningless), save for Courtney. And my guess is that's mainly because good guys can't have any relations to people the protagonist hates. There are stories that subvert that expectation, but HSD isn't among them.

This fact is rather clearly because of Black-and-White Morality (I love tvtropes do you love tvtropes), in which either people are PURE EVIL or LOVELY ANGELS. Of course, none of the 'good' guys are angels, but they are quirky, funny protagonists, which is the only thing that distinguishes good from evil in rom-coms. I could weite a story about Courtney, making her funny, and she would probably be seen as good.

Are you saying that it's impossible for Razor and Courtney to date just because Alyssa hates Courtney? So Razor doesn't flirt with Courtney? I'm confused on what you're saying, sorry x.x

Uh, I looked up the Black-and-White Morality thingy-ma-bob.
To start, everything in the story is Alyssa's interpretation on things that are happening around her. She doesn't think of people as either good or evil, (Well, actually...) she thinks of them if they're her friend, or if she just thinks of them as a rude person. Even though their actions may prove her wrong, it's just what she thinks. Courtney could probably be a really kind person and super funny, but Alyssa doesn't see her like that, so Courtney is painted as the evil villain.

Is that what you're trying to say? Because if so, I'm just repeating you x.x
