Duuuude. Dude! You're pretty d**n good, man, I mean, like, compared to most people, you're very good at art.. I see potential. If you want me to help you with people and mammal muzzles, I will. :3

But yeah, I really like the.. Harpy Eagle? The beak looks a bit to hooked, bot otherwise, man... And the Griffon Vulture is really nice, seriously. I'm not actually all that good at birds-I seem to specialize in exactly the opposite things as you. lol

Together, with our powers combined, we shall take over the world~!

Also, your dragon is bada** I mean, like, I've never been really able to draw things with gaping mouths or... I'm more talented in character refs, portraits and still life. I've never been able to draw something convincingly scary or, like, showing all that much emotion. I like <3

But yeah, I thought I sucked at drawing people until we had to do a portrait in art class. I Have Mrs Burger to thank (my art teacher and math tutor) for learning finer things about Still Life. She says I have a natural sense of shading, too <3
Anyway, I ramble. Come over to my hat sometime and I'll give you a few tips-I just have to go now, mom wants comp and all.

I'm only really learning how to create emotion through eyes and mouth posture, I used to just leave my creatures fairly emotionless.
I did a bit of still life drawing in my art class earlier this year, I was fairly decent at it, but unless I have something in front of me to show where shadows are, I tend to go somewhat haywire with shading...I think I'll focus on that next, have a 'light source' from a single direction drawn on the paper and try to shade according to that.

Whenever I draw muzzles in 3D they're too square, I'm fine drawing them in profile view, but front view and 3D they look much too boxy, birds and snakes are much easier to draw xD. Though I have a bit of trouble drawing anything looking directly at the viewer.

For the Harpy eagle and Griffon vulture I used photo references, it's the only way I can do realism lol
these are the photos I used:

-pokes head in- Man, I haven't been here in a while XD

Anyway, to Terra's question about ears, in case you still want some ideas: What I did for my ears was twist gardening wire into the proper shape, then wrap that with duct tape, then hot-glue fur onto that...Foam would probably be easier though XD. I then spray-painted them obnoxious colors. I'll upload a photo later if I can convince my mom to let me use her camera.

*glomps Capri*

Good idea for ears, Cappers. What I do is shape them out of foam and hot glue them on a head band. Then I fur them and such.

Something I'd like to share, considering I haven't done much on here in a while. A new character of mine named Reznov. :3

Rez is gorgeous ^^

Since I gave Gin to Tanner and am getting rid of Senkat, I made a new character for 2011!

lolz, Steel even created a character for herself that happens to be Kludd's girlfriend. (it's a running gag between us)

Very nice, Lakota! You can draw horses far better than I can!

P.S. Streaming is over now

LOOK AT THIS DISGUSTING DISPLAY.

This is a WIP of Esmeralda!Astrid, and it's all Bongo's fault.

And I just realized it looks like Astrid is grabbing herself, she's actually not, she's playing with the sash  I have to reposition her hand when I digitalize it.
