"No! She screamed, slapping him and knocking him out. She got out her mobile and rang the police. They arrived very fast.

Dusk managed to break through her cage.
When she saw one of the police officers, she recognized one of them.
The police bent down and stroked Dawn.
" Dawn, is that you?"
He asked quietly.
Dawn was calm around him and she lied down at the officers feet.

simon followed obediently, sitting down once he was back in the cage. there was too much going on, and he was confused. he barked a few times, curiously. simon sniffed the edges of the cage, wagging his tail before he moved back to the back of the cage. he quietly laid down, his head between his paws, as he watched.

midnight snorted, getting upset. there was no other horses. if she just broke free, she could live alone. but, no. she whinnied a few more times before giving up. she snorted, wondering if she could go over the gate.

Stephanie smiled " you know her? I met her when she walked into my office this morning. Had a note in her collar saying she was a stupid three legged mutt named dawn." she sighed. "Do you want her back in the force? But first remove this man from my building."


Sally looked over the stable. "quieter down there" she said. "I'm sally"

" Oh, yes i will get this man, but i cannot care for Dawn anymore.
She is not in shape for work, and she needs a good home."
The officer said dragging the man to the car.

" Thank you for your opinion, mister........" she said taking dawn back to her cage. She was feeling better now. But still worried.

Dusk did not want to go in her cage because she did not want anyone to see the broken cage.
She hesitated.
