He sighed, lying on the grass himself, his snow white hair going into his face slightly. He brushed it away with his left hand, staring up into the sky, the sun setting very slowly over the hills. He liked this, it looked nice. He felt tempted to smile, but eh wouldn't allow himself the pleasure of doing that.

Othelia yawned, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. Rubbing her eyes, she stood up and went to lie down under the cover of a wide pine tree. She stared up at the sky through the branches, the scenic sight reminding her of the nights her and her elven kin would spend star gazing. Biting back the bitter sweet memory, she allowed her eyes to close, fatigue catching up. She wasn't too worried about Fenris, more than expecting him to be gone in the morning. She knew he'd had enough of her, probably. The gods know I've only been alone all this time. Why should that change? she wondered.

He folded his arms behind his head, watching the sky with a stoic face, this was usual, sleeping on the ground. He sighed softly before closing his eyes.

Othelia fell asleep, but by the middle of the night she was wide awake. She decided to wander off, but no trail was left to be found. In the morning, she was found a few yards away, perched up in a tall tree, watching something in the distance.

Othelia smiled slightly, but didn't look down at him, "The Darkspawn are long gone. And what's a pinata? " Out in the distant she watched as Dalish aravels parted through the forest like a green sea. They're headed north. But why? she wondered.

The male elf chuckled. "I see, and that, I believe, is a thing that gets beaten repedivly." he answered simply, looking at up her curiously.

Pursing her lips, Morrigan rose to her feet, standing tall on the toppled statue with her chin lifted, gazing at the treetops but seeing far beyond. She had prowled the Wilds as a wolf, soared above them with the birds, matched her beating heart to that of this wild place, her home. And in a flash, she saw what could happen, what would happen, if she refused to act.

Death. Everywhere. Darkness and stillness and poison that could not be healed. Fires licked clean the bones of a once proud spirit laid low. A wasteland, stretching far beyond these Wilds and into Ferelden, sweeping across this proud if troubled land. Evil seeping into the strong body of the earth, spawning sin and destruction with no hope of salvation. And there, too strong to fall with the rest, stood Morrigan, powerless in the center of the devastation she helped sow by failing to bring it to an end.

Morrigan blinked away the vision, barely able to stifle her surprise and sudden, inexplicable bolt of fear. Heart thudding in her chest, her breath hitched and she swallowed hard.

"Twas my mother, in fact, who took the treaties," she said, her voice teasing and all but denying how shaken she was. Never before had that occurred. Visions were the dominion of her mother, a rare and treasured gift she had not believed she possessed. But perhaps this vision was to be the only one of its kind, granted to help her define her future. Morrigan would not waste it.
