Beartalon looked at Redstar, the yowls slowly fading back into whispers again. The large tom rubbed his head with his paw. "I-I think something's happening. I keep on hearing things in my head. Things like...like...Revenge and killings? They get louder when I get closer to cats, like you and Flightpaw."

Flightpaw woke under the bush where she'd fallen asleep. Her limbs were stiff and her back ached. She got to her paws and stumbled back to camp, deciding that it would be best if she kept up the appearance of shell-shock. After all, she had been there when Waspfur died and any cat who didn't know the elder's grisly secret and had been in Flightpaw's place would be scarred for a period of time. She noticed that Beartalon was in with Redstar. As much as she despised the idea of pretending to run to the leader for comfort, she knew it would be reinforce his view of her as innocent.

Redstar looked at his deputy. "You can hear, voices? In your head?" Revenge and killings... what? He thought, staring at his deputy in confusion. He looked down at Flightpaw, who had run over to them. "Flightpaw," he meowed softly, "Do you hear voices too?"

She slowly walked through the woods and then heard twigs cracking. She turned towards the noise, her ears twitching. Then it came out of nowhere. Claws scraped Fiercesand's shoulder, a horrible yowl came from the attacker. Fiercesand couldn't even see the cat's face, since it was night. Fiercesand clawed at the cat's face and tried to get it off of her, but it was too strong. Then...
"I told you to leave!" a familiar voice came out of the cat's mouth.
"J---" Fiercesand almost said when the cat held up one claw to it's mouth.
"Shhhh," it said, "Don't. I'm not him anymore. Leave."
The cat got off of her, "Leave! Leave Risingclan! They are dangerous!"
Fiercesand shook her head, "What are you talking about?"
The tom frowned, "They are dangerous! Why can't you see that?"
But then he looked away, "I'm dangerous..."
And then he was gone.

Beartalon flinched at the look Redstar gave him. Please, Flightpaw, say something... He thought worriedly, then adding in his head, Something good, actually. He looked at the apprentice, tail flicking.
