Dear Panda,

Today was my first day at a new school Greenwood High. I met a few people in my Honors Language Arts in my writing group but no real friends. Every year, since third grade, I bought a book to write in and name it something different every year. I try and write almost every day but I usually don't. Oh well.

Oh, how about I tape in a picture of me. Hold on, I have to take a good one. See you in 3 years...

So, I have a new teacher
I've heard. Like her?
I mean, I don't hate her.
She's a witch?
Beyond! I coughed during a pop quiz and got a point off!
Ooh... harsh
Yeah. She's a major-- She's coming! Hide me
She seems normal.
Trust me, she's not.

Then his mom called him so he went to the bathroom to talk.

Well, I want to find out about this teacher and why she's a "witch"

Dear Panda,

Today my school decided to try something new, lunch staff. Basically, everyday a new teacher gets chosen to watch over the lunch room. Pretty dumb, right? Well, not today. Harrisons' witch teacher was the teacher in charge. He was mad but I was curious. When he saw her, he grabbed me by the arm and dragged me as far away as we could be... She looked nice but from what he was saying, she was horrible. Here is the exact thing he said to me.
"Skye, we are leaving. I will not eat my food near that creature."

Seems pretty dramatic to me... I didn't see how she could be mean. She did nothing at lunch but maybe she's different in the classroom.

Hey Panda!

Okay, so I asked Harrison if he could record his lesson with his teacher so I could see how "mean" she was. He did. When I saw the footage, I was very surprised. She was a little rude but not terrible. Well, I still want to see how Har thinks she is a witch. Maybe I'll ask him to do it again tomorrow.

Well, it's pretty late and I can hear mom coming to check one me.
