Kimberly sighed, as the sights blurred before her eyes. The train was going fast now, but she still ould pick out details with her eyes. She looked back at her bag, and took out the letter again. Adoption into the Potter family. It was truly a dream come true, the best escape from the orphanage she would ever have. She presumed she could speak to Professor Potter once she got there, get the details, but for now she just traced the letters in their green ink. She had to wonder whether every homeless or orphaned child got this, or whether it was just her? If it was, why her? She had never known a Potter or a Weasley, she had always been cooped up in that stupid orphanage, and the mountains and fields around it.
