Staff Litter 2015 Discussion Thread

Every two seconds, I refresh this page. Every two minutes, I go to my "dogs" group to check if any have grown up.
I'm not impatient.

The dog's won't age until 24 hours after you've adopted them - sometimes it'll take longer than a day, but we may have a growth on the first day for the staff litter. ^^

Um, I think they know that, Blaine o3o just being paranoid about them, that's all xD

Now... Ghost dogs would be so cute <3

Hope this isn't the wrong place to ask but,

when did the Staff Pets begin to release in September instead of November?
It was November, right? I'm just curious of the change, was it asked for, voted for, or what?

It was just because randomly they announced 'so it's a shorter wait! they're gonna be released in september now!'

Well I'm glad they announced that! It does keep the fun going, since there's not really a holiday to celebrate in September. Or that I know of.

They were changed from November to September because having them sandwiched between Halloween and Christmas a lot to handle, so this was supposed to be easier for staff. Or at least that's what I remember hearing.

It was changed to September with the 2013 staff litter, as having the staff litter in between Halloween and Christmas was a pretty big strain on everyone, especially as the staff litter tends to be still growing well into the next month. Having it in September gave more breathing room, as it gave a good span of time after the Summer Event to finish the staff dogs before we had to go into full-on Halloween/Advent prep mode and gave members more time to focus on collecting the staff dogs without also struggling to keep up with Halloween/Advent outcomes. :3
