"Well, if it's any consolation, I think you're pretty smart." Della told him. "And good at peacemaking too! You and Guzore are the peacemakers of the group. Guzore's good at calming people down, and you're good at calming Zeph down." she said, smiling. "And honestly, I think he's the hardest to hang around with. I don't know how you do it."

"I guess it's just a habit." Ferondir said to them both. "I've been doing it since we were both toddlers."
He looked back over at the house. "Someone has to be there for him."
He looked back at Della. "He's usually not this bad. I'm sure, once you get to know him, you'll get along great."
He wanted to ask her something else, but Guzore's presence might make that particular conversation awkward. It'd have to wait.
Why had she screamed in Zeph's mindscape?

"I'll be the judge of that." Della huffed. "I still haven't forgiven him for what he did to me." she growled, crossing her arms and shaking her head. "And now he's done such horrible things to that poor man's boat. But I'll try to get to know him I guess." she shrugged.

Ferondir winced. Fair enough. "Thanks, and once Jakub calms down enough, I'll offer to fix his boat." Ferondir whispered. "He's not too fond of wizards messing with his ship. I just hope he lets me repair it properly."
Had she met something like that ancient creature, or was that scream deeper than that? It had sounded bloodcurdling.

"If he doesn't, I'll try to convince him." she promised Ferondir. "Everything will turn out for the better. We'll be an awesome adventuring team." she assured him. "I just hope Ill be useful. I'll be sure to make lots of potions for you guys."

He chuckled. "You should try labeling all your ingredients."
He pulled out four ingredients that he had in his wizard bag. "You'll make better use of these. I never learned potions."

"Oh hey, I've been meaning to enchant my armour. Do you know how to make an enchanting solution?"

Zeph wasn't sure how long it'd been since he'd woken up, however he could still here murmurs of conversations through the walls- echoing throughout the house.
He had kept himself busy.
His room was scrawled with runes-There were dozens of them, everywhere.
All over the walls, on the floor, in the air.
Some appeared to be scrawled in a purple fire- some in floating light.
Most notably however, was his old sword.
It was laying on the ground, in one corner of his room- inside a glowing sidil
The sword had at least 10 different runes- etched along just the blade itself.
It seemed to give off an ambient glow, as well as occasional sparks jettisoning from the tip.
This should work. Zeph mumbled, scribbling notes into his Grimoire.
He edged over towards his sword, stele now in hand.
Zeph now etched a phrase into the Blade
carpe noctem / reformabit fata
Next to the phrase, was a quarted-circle.
Perfect. Zeph said, now scribbling more notes into his Grimoire.

Guzore laughed.
Well, we can't have everyone arguing now, can we? In the Goron tribe, peace and honor are one of our highest virtues! That and wrestling. A little ironic, if you ask me.

"Wow, really?" Della took the ingredients, smiling. "Thanks so much Ferondir!" she hugged him for a minute, then put the new ingredients in her bag before looking up at Guzore. "Hey, could you tell me more about the goron tribe? I've heard a few things, but I think it'd be cool to learn about different races! Maybe when you're done explaining things I can go talk to Sapphire and she can tell me everything about Zoras." she looked incredibly happy, and if it was possible, her eyes seemed to be sparkling.

Guzore's eyes lit up. This was the moment he'd been training for.
Well, the Goron race itself has been around as far back as before the era of Skyloft, but we've only had main city for about a century or so. We used to wander the mountains and eat rocks, but now we eat rocks in Goron Ciry on Death Mountain. Our founder, Gorko, decided to gather all the Gorons he knew and form a brotherhood dedicated to exploring and discovering the secrets of this land. Legend has it that he was saved from a monster attack by our first King before he became king. Anyway, Gorko founded the Goron brotherhood about a decade or so after Castle Town was founded, and Goron City was built 4 decades later. Everything was wonderful in our village until the second Bordix invasion happened when I was a child...
