Cassia heard a second howl, this time closer then before. She paused and looked around as if expecting to find the owner of the howl. She could imagine the wolves in the trees, running through them in a pack, chasing down whatever they chose to eat. She turned to move back, but instead was met by the gaze of one. She stumbled back against one of the trees in shock. The fear set in afterwards. Her heart raced as she stared into its eyes, however she didn't scream or run away. She licked her lips nervously "Go on! Go!" She scowled in the fiercest tone she could muster. Truth was she was terrified, her eyes locked with its for only a bit, but they flickered toward its mouth, the teeth. The teeth were what scared her, larger and stronger then the dogs that had almost killed her years ago.

xxxxxThe wolf flattened his ears slightly, aware of how afraid the hunter must be right now. He whimpered softly when the hunter groaned as he nudged him over, but quickly made up for it by letting Aiden pet him, which wasn't exactly his cup of tea. Aaron only lifted his head to look at Aiden, then back over in the direction of the parking lot. The werewolf couldn't talk as a wolf, and wouldn't be able to until morning. Which might be good as Aiden's reaction to this could either go horribly wrong, or very well. Aaron's head suddenly snapped forward and let out a low, throaty growl. Not wanting to leave the wounded hunter unattended, his simply shifted until he could shield the hunter with his body. There were other wolves around that would desperately want to kill Aiden, and under normal circumstance, Aaron probably would too. However seeing the hunter this scared, and what had happened back in his motel room, the wolf felt semi-responsible for Aiden's PTSD of wolves. He flared his nostrils slightly, letting out a small huff of a breath as he continued to look around. He calmed down when he was sure the threat had passed by. The wolf glanced at the hunter, nudging his face lightly with his wet nose before licking a cut on his cheek.

Aiden's breaths were uneven and choppy, his hand leavin the wolf's soft fur after assurin himself it wasn't there to hurt him. Instead, the hunter put his hands over a wound on his side, pressing down though he almost immediatly pulled his hands back with a startled and pained noise. " i guess i deserve this." He mumbled to the animal, aware that it had to be a werewolf since wolves werent exactly native to tennesee unless they were also human in the day. As the animal growled he flinched once more, curling in on himself as if it could help. However intimidating aiden may seem, he wasn't very good at upholding that impression when faced with wolves. He was terrified of them, as well as had quite a hate for the creatures though as the wolf actually licked his cheek he felt more comforted than afraid. "That's gross." He spoke quite quietly, though it was clear he wasn't too bothered by the action.

xxxxxThe russet werewolf squinted his eyes slightly as if he was smiling at Aiden's comment. His eyes moved down to the wound on Aiden's side, licked it a couple times, then managed to squeeze his head between the hunter's arm and leg, resting his head in Aiden's lap. Every once in awhile, the wolf's ears would tilt in different directions, picking up different sounds and noises. At one point he sneezed, jolting upwards but making sure he didn't hurt Aiden as he moved so quickly. He blinked a couple of time in what seemed to be confusion before licking another one of the fresh cuts on the other boy's arm.

As the obviously frightened girl attempted to shoo Carson away, she just blankly gave her the most bored looking face that she could make. Humans could be so oblivious to the fact that wolves don't hurt people for fun but to protect themselves when a human tried to harm them. The mean fae decided to mess with her new "friend". Instead of leaving like the girl asked, Carson did tricks for the her to confuse the heck out of the poor soul. The red wolf would roll over followed by barking and sitting. After a few more roll-overs and jumps, she sat lazily with her tongue lolling out of her mouth. The tail that belonged to the wolf swayed slowly back and forth while she shot the girl a mischievous and rude gaze and grin, daring her to try to get rid of her again.

Tyler's gaze followed the wolf thinking it was simply going to pass him and leave. But instead, the creature laid against him causing him to completely freeze for a few seconds. Eventually the boy slowly and carefully eased his tense form and sighed anxiously. Tyler soon began to enjoy the quiet yet pleasant silence between the wolf and himself as he observed the animal's body since it was much closer. The eyelids of the 18 year old slowly started drooping down along with his head. Seconds later his head popped up in attempt to stay awake. But soon he failed and half of the boy's body was slumped forward and light snores could be heard. A few babbles would were made by Tyler but nothing too clear as his body threatened to fall over onto the wolf.

ooc\\ furandscaless, remember wolves and humans aren't supposed to be friendly towards one another as stated by dreamshade on the ooc thread. carson wouldnt be doing tricks around a random human, she'd be punished by her alpha and werewolves arent supposed to be kind to humans- especially in wolf form.

aiden was clearly startled when the animal sneezed, but he ended up giving a light laugh. " you're a funny one. " he did appreciate the warmth and that was clear, then closing his eyes as he was relaxing even more than he had been before. he used one of his hands that were used more often than not to kill to fix the fur of the wolf's face, getting it out of the animal's eyes and all going the right way as he opened his eyes only slightly, obviously sleepy. these small ticks he had kept his mind off the pain, which was nice and made the night easier to sit through. " i never thought that werewolves were kind, but you are.'' he admitted softly and closed his eyes once more, burying his face in the warm fur.

xxxxxAaron was pleased that Aiden hadn't decided to kill him, but he might in the morning onc Aiden figured out who he was. The werewolf's tail thumped against the ground as he made an effort to show his appreciation of the quiet comment. Aaron let the boy rest his head on him, making a quiet noise as he yawned himself. His nose twitched slightly, picking up various scents of the various forest animals still scampering around the night floor. The wolf curled even tighter around Aiden, but not too tight as to it being uncomfortable for the hunter. Aaron was cautious to be careful and gentle with the blonde boy, his breathing finally relaxing to normal. He had been nervous that the hunter was just trying to coax him so it would be easy to kill Aaron, but he couldn't see it happening now.

Aiden closed his eyes, shivering a tiny bit though he appreciated the warmth from the wolf. When Aaron tightened around him a tiny bit he let out a small noise though it really wasnnt any thing to be worried about. He only felt more comfortable, his body quite numb at that point though with the pressure from his own body and the wolf's the bleeding had stopped. He was very sleepy, and yawned carefully as he rested with the soft animal. ~ wb ~

xxxxxAaron watched the hunter slowly close his eyes and rest on his body. Aaron's own eyes threatened to close, but if any of his pack members saw him, then he'd surely get punished for this. He also needed to figure out a way to slip away from the hunter, as morning was surely close to returning. Granted, he could stay a wolf, as he could change by will in the daytime. The wolf gave a small sigh, but suddenly lifted his head from Aiden's lap. Something was wrong, and he could feel it in the pit of his stomach. He could feel his heart begin o pick up pace, and he slowly lifted himself from the ground, feeling more than guilty for moving away from Aiden. He lifted his head into the air to see if it might be anything he could smell, but it was no use. He mad a couple garbled noises which kind of sounded like the human part of him was trying to talk, but he picked aiden up by the scruff of his shirt, trying to literally throw him onto Aaron's back. It looked a little like Clifford the Big Red Dog only instead there was a large russet wolf and a near dying hunter. Something was horribly wrong, but he couldn't tell what exactly, and he wasn't about to risk the hunter and himself getting killed. Once the hunter had wrapped his arms around Aaron's neck again, he started running at a slow pace, his ears shoved forward to pick up any noises along the way. By now, he'd surely give away his identity, he was heading straight back towards the motel.

Quinn somehow managed to lay the boy down gently. She knew she was going to change once morning came, but she didnt want to leave this poor guy sleeping in a parking lot. The wolf soon shut her eyes to rest, but made sure she wasnt asleep. If the pack saw this, she would be in a lot of trouble. Her ears were still perked up and listen for any noise.
